What do you think about literally dead classes after new classes will come out in February? My guess is this.
1.Wizard
2.Veno
3.Archer
4.Barb(after new patch)

    The sad thing is i voted against my own class...b:surrender I know we are going to die...as if the herc craze back in the day hadnt been bad enough sigh..*shakes my head* oh well I'll probably just start over in PWI completely after the expansion since they usually make a new server to go with the expansions.b:sweat

    The funny thing is that I see less venos then any other class including barb's at level 100 doing bh's. =x Though there are still few of either one. =x


    As for after the update in my opinion it is too early to tell. It is likely a lot of the 'male' irl veno's will start being a mystic. Though I really can't see many of them wanting to start over with a class that will be fairly similar to their old class that is already extremely well geared, and they don't have to worry about leveling it/getting cash for it. (most may still use their main to get money for their new class.) =x

    As for the seeker class 'replacing' anyone guess only time will tell, wouldn't be too surprised if they kind of replace barbs, or bm's in the traditional fc squads. (the sins kind of already did since they were released.)

    Though barbs, and bms will still obviously have their places in squads just as they do now.

    One thing is for sure, as long as the game doesn't become TRULY dead, we will see a lot of people starting new classes. =x

    alot of people start a new class but then get bored and move back to their old class as for sins and psy's who knows how many people will play on them when the new classes come out

    wiz is already dead for everything except tw and gv. I do not see how more worse it will get after the new patch comes out for wiz.
    Barb on the other hand will always bring something good to the squad like hp buff even after patch. I will take in a barb anyday even if the barb is not tanking.

    Yes I agree alot do. I have a end game wiz myself which I stopped playing. The thing is no class will die but certain classes like wiz has already stooped to a all time low in pve effectiveness.

    I know this particular topic is on the influence of the new classes coming in, but the summary of the thread I've posted is that end game sage barbs are essentially worthless with the exception of buffs and cata and therefore soon to be extinct.

    It makes me sad, too.

    Considering how hard it is to find tanks/barbs for squads nowdays already - My greatest fear is that barbs will simply go extinct. However, is the Seeker a tank class that they are such a threat to the existing tank one?

    Glad to be a dying race then. That means I can get anything done fast and at my choosing, since Barbs are preferred, imo, but not exactly needed. b:laugh

    If barbs go extinct, I'll just finish raising up my barb and be the sole barb for RT b:pleased Because in my opinion barbs will always be the ultimate tank no class will ever be as epic or have as much hp :)

    I like how psychics aren't even included in the list.

    Also, clerics are nowhere near dead. They're all just level 100 now.

    Personally I don't think any class is dead, just the people who are willing to learn to use them properly...

    barbar don't vanish can adapt... as 5 aps sin i would like a 3-4 aps barbar in nirvana anytime cause buff even tho i don't really need sure make life enjoyable ...

    if i recall while back all bm were strength/vitality/axe no bm really had fist..they adapted and go lot of cash from farming very uber effective..

    even archers who care about gaming got lunar fist and at 5 aps can farm decent nirvana...

    thing is nobody like change really:D

    Of course, if I was so disgusted with PWI I probably would find another game.     People are saying barbs are not going to die. However, APS is problem for us. Even after that the poll shows 42.5% of people (unfortunately im one of them cuz of aps b:surrender) saying barbs are going to die. I just hope they dont b:sad
