You need to look at chinese thoughts, play style, and culture.
One when a male is born in china the parents (according to confucianism teachings) are supposed to wrap him in the finest silk and give him the finest jade stone pieces to play with.
When a female is born in china the parents are to wrap her in an old rag and give her little grey stones to play with.
Male children are more sought after than female children... Just a simple fact of the culture.
2. Most gamers from asia tend not to gender bend when creating accounts and toons. The males make male toons and females make female toons. The whole I want to be a woman is a western trait among gamers. (For the most part say for a few exceptions like the boy-ladies of thailand)
3. Fantasy based role playing game... I hate to break it to you but across almost every culture in world history the fantasy legends says its the big strong man in shining armor (go blade masters) that save the princess in his big strapping arms away from danger.
4. This is more of a question to make a point.... Have you ever dated an asain girl? They tend to be very submissive in there relationships (which is how they were raised) The man says the man gets (not to say its right its just how they look at it). Not saying that as a sexist remark cause god only knows my ex would kill me. She has a mind of her own but in her own words "I want my man to make a few desicions and be A MAN. I can still go to work pay my bills and make my own desicions but when I am with him its time I sat back and let him take over."

Where do you get your history??? Pompeii was destroyed and covered in volcanic ash 140 years before the invasion and siege of rome that led to its inevitable destruction. Pompeii is on the western edge of italy (northwest of rome)... Hundreds of miles from greece. The city of Pompeii itself was the vacation spot for roman senators and wealthy. (think of it like an ancient version of Las Vegas) Yes there are murals of *** lovers involved in some dirty deeds but you also need to put these into context with culture and times of ancient roman beliefs... And not forget to overlook that there were also murals of sex with animals, between family members, and ********. All of which was considered taboo for the romans. It was kinda like hanging up hustler magazines in a public restroom today. It was just some pornographic material for people to look at while they were.... Well in a bathhouse most of the time.... Use your imagination.

I did mention I may have spelled it wrong, English is my fourth language, and I apologize for the misunderstanding. I give up trying to spell greek names in English.

On subject, as much as I endorse the equal treatment of human beings, the whole thing with same sex marriage on this game would cause a huge uproar, much like the "Don't ask, don't tell" issue arising in the United States with their military. The developers don't even care about things in this game that DO need fixing, let alone giving us the privilege of same sex embracing/marriage.
I wouldn't mind being able to carry a guy for the sake of convenience, but unfortunately, it's never going to happen. Like many issues we bring up here, it's nice to talk about, but it will never happen.0 -

No one is asking for the ability for characters of the same gender to partake in intercourse. What is being asked, is that characters of the same gender be allowed to wed one another. There is no difference between two male characters, or female characters, being married in game, when people are also allowed to wed same genders in real life. So I was thinking(already off to a bad start)... We could probably pitch the idea to China that women carrying men is degrading and a form of male dominance. And same pixel carrying could be considered a bonding experience(lots of cultures hug right?) I'd tell them whatever they wanted to hear if it allowed me to be carried around by my friends. Not sure what sort of things we could come up with for same pixel marriage. I'd love to have one of my friends carry me around when I'm playing on a flightless low level. b:victory
