Constant Bug Reports

I'm kinda getting tired of ALWAYS getting bug reports. I'm up to about 10-15 a day now and I have no idea why. I was always fine with this game on my windows 7 box (haven't changed any graphics ram processor or anything since I originally got it) so I'm not sure what's going on.

Is anyone else having more then normal crashes of late?

zip up your logs folder inside the element folder where the game is installed and post it here after a crash happens, it will help immensely in figuring out whats wrong

Yay 6th DC in TT today this one caused a squad wipe while I was tanking the boss thanks PWI I hate you too b:kiss

*will update with link to rar file*

Have at it, this is really getting freakin annoying :(

    *another edit*

Right now i'm just reinstalling the game and see if that does the trick. I still have the log folder up there for anyone to take a look and see if it's something more serious then just the game being dumb. If I notice the problem is resolved then I will make sure to note it back in this thread but I would love if someone can take a look and see if they can't spot a different source for the problem.

This is kinda prohibiting me from really doing any TT runs or any events. I've DC'ed several times from CoA too which is really messing up my cash flow. -_-

Please send in a ticket to Tech Support with the following information so we can try to figure this out for you. We need you to send us some of your computer's information.

    1) What is the make and model number of your computer?

    2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.

    3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.

    4) Attach the dxdiag.txt that you save to your reply to us.

If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file.

This is important so that we can help you find the right software for your system.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Done please try and get to it in a reasonable time manner. I ended up completely reinstalling my system last night (os needed it anyway :x) along with the game and it still did it about 6 times today. I dunno what more I can really do besides get a new system (lol not going to happen). b:cry

Sorry for the double, but it's getting worse and worse. I'm now unable to be in TT more then 2 minutes (literally) without a crash. If I come back in and get a reinvite it only crashes again, which is beyond ridiculous.

I have found a known issue with the drivers and it's corrected (issues with the file nvlddmkm.sys look it up you'll know what i mean) but that has been resolved.

Why the hell does my PWI keep crashing constantly. b:angry

Seeing some other posts about AMD processors and how they have issues with multi core and handling the game i'm going to assign just one core to PWI. I'll see if that does anything. >.<

    @Traz
Have you tried verifying the files?

Yeah several times, each having no effect on the constant crashes. So far after 4 DC's (using both processors in TT3-x starting spot) I've not DC'ed since switching affinity to single core. I'll see how long it lasts but upon teleporting I did bug report (but I know countless people that have that happen so i'm writing it off).

    Any other suggestions? b:surrender

    *EDIT* still crashes :(

    15049-153350 is the ticket number

You should have all the info of the system etc. Last night I completely tore it apart and cleaned EVERYTHING and put it back. I'm still running windows 7 64bit (which if continues I'm rolling back to Windows XP SP3 because I can't play it as it stands). The dumb thing in all of this.....this system is 3 years old and I NEVER had a single problem with any game/movie/computing I have done, except for the last week or so.
