Servers: East vs West and ping

Am I right that that lower ping means less lag? What is the East West choice (server located in eastern US or east meaning china).

Lastly, not included in original topic, but last night lag was so bad during territory wars. I tried to power through it, but had to log out. Is this normal? Does this mean with my connection I will be unable to play crowded areas later in the game, or was it just random network slowdown?

    for what i understand of your comments, you dont have lag.. but framerate issues.

    LAG= problem of latency on the internet.
    - you click an action, the action occurs 12 seconds later.. thats lag.

    framerate = there are too many ppl on the screen and you play like in a "roman photo" ( one image every 12 seconds)


    Framerate has many causes
    1 = your hardware wich isnt good enough ( try playing with less details)
    2 = the connection between server and your PC isnt "fast" enough for all the datas needed fot all the pixels involved (thats not lag.. but bandwith, or server wich cant resolve al lthe querries from al lthe plyers involved)
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    Thank you. What is a good bandwidth to have for this game? (I am at 1.2mbps). I might could upgrade that, but not much I can do about hardware at this point. My details are already as low as they can go.
