Before all the changes, everyone was grinding/zhenning non-stop. It is possible now though to level without much grinding......it all depends on how fast you want to level and much real life money you are willing to spend on the game. If you cash shop and sell gold, it is possible to level just by running instances all the time.

However, the trade mark of generally all MMO's is that, at some point, you will always end up grinding to level or to make money.... and this game is no exception. The higher in level you go, the more grinding you will be doing. So, if you don't like grinding or repetitive game play, then this is probably not the game for you :(

Having said that though, if you are just planning to play for a few weeks then you can get by with no grinding whatsoever. There are certainly enough quests to keep you busy until you hit level 60+, and you can find cheap equipment as well through the low levels so grinding for money should not be much of a problem.

Why not just give it a try, what's the worse that could happen? ......getting sucked into playing this game for years? :(

    Welcome to PWI!

1-19 - There are easy quests that will level you quickly to 19. (Takes about to or less than 1 day.) *above mention game I am only like oh say ... 12 o,o;*

19-29 - I typically have difficulties here but can be past up if you make a LOT of Life Powders or a typical cash-shopper of charms.

30+ Continue with quest and have the new additional daily quest, Crazy Stone. o.o You do a small buy from merchant travel in town to give items to selected merchant. Ypu end with waiting 10 mins for a massive amount of exp that will level you up withing 6-8 times of it. You may find this slow and a bit annoying if you just do this everyday and not anything else. (lvl 1 Flyer is obtained at lvl 30, DO NOT BUY FROM CATSHOPS -.-;)

40 - 80ish Typical quest are prolly close to **** atm. Crazy Stone quest upgrades a bit. You may now start, which are daily quests, BHs. BHs you may do up to 3 times a day. The whole thing is a dungeon run starting with Qingzi. You will gain levels very easily but, as you will notice for a short time. I must warn at this moment that if you lack in doing your quest as well you will find it harder to obtain later levels Rank Armor.

50+ Opens an Area called Cube of Fate. It's mainly for the trill and easier access to Archosaur.

60+ You may do TT for much stronger Weapons. These Mats can seldomly cost a lot and typically only a venomancer with the cash shopped Hercules can solo.

80+ You gain World Quest as well as the ability to enter Frostcover City (FCC or FG). World Quests are simple but very long NPC to NPC to NPC quest. FCC are the counter balance of TT. Where TT gives you Weapon and Armors you may obtain obtain large amount of EXP here. If used correctly with Hyper Stones (which are typically hated up until this point.) can level you to 100 within a weeks time.

As for myself, I cannot give further information past this point other than:

90+ Opens acess to Nirvana, Nirvana fromm what I have been told is a better TT.

100+ Opens Frostglade in Arrowhead Manor, the area is at the moment very strict. Used as well the same way as TT.

105+ I have not much info other then that you have reached the level cap. It will not change in the newest expansion. There is also a area called Warsong City.
    _

If you typically have "No Life" you will not have a problem with the games speed.
o,o Seriously only only took me about a week or two with Keliska.
If you got far in Aika, this game is easy. :P

50+ Opens an Area called Cube of Fate. It's mainly for the trill and easier access to Archosaur. And gives 1 million exp upon finishing.

60+ You may do TT for much stronger Weapons. These Mats can seldomly cost a lot and typically only a venomancer with a Hercules can solo. However high APS can as well, so just make some friends =)

100+There is also a area called Warsong City which is open to everyone but pretty much only gone into for BH. BH is a daily and every 10 lvls are different instances to do for exp.

105+ I have not much info other then that you have reached the level cap. It will not change in the newest expansion.

if you check the announcements, theres a new race coming out next year at February, but yea...

1-19 is pretty easy, if your a cleric or archer, kiteing is your best friend at the early levels, if your a blademaster, assasin, barbarian, its reccomended you farm for nectar and golden herbs when you see them and make life powders for easy hp (best place to farm them is around all of the outskirts of city of the lost, realy if you want to try the game on easy mode (good for newbies) you should probs just play a venomancer, they have a pet to take the beating for them and do good damage, also they have 3 skills, all in which can give you max MP every 5 minutes,

20-29, still easy, just gota play your class right and like i said, if your a physical user, farm for HP powders before questing, its a MUST or the game will be harder as you will be using pots alot, or sitting for hp to much,

30-40 isnt to bad either, someone already said you get a daily quest called crazy stone, make sure to do it each day untill level 80+ anyway,

40-50, here you get something called bh29 (bh = bounty hunter, at the level 29 dungeon) it will be hard to get a squad for this, as there isnt to many lowbies about doing this quest, but as soon as you hit 40 anyway, its very easy to hit level 45 within 1-2 hours by doing special tideborn quests at there city,

50-60 is just easy as hell anyway, you still have loads of quests, but now you get bh39, you should be able to get a squad for this quest after waiting abit, you get tons of exp for completing it

60-70, well its just the same like levels 50-60, do your quests and keep doing the BH for easy exp, same with 70-80,

80-100+, from here you need to just keep doing your BHs and you should be able to get access to a squad for a place we call short, FC, buy 5 hyper stones via a cat shop, or buy tokens from people and exchange them at a certain NPC, then go do the FC and activate the x12 exp at specific areas (your squad will tell you when), you dont realy need to do quests unless you randomly feel like it, since the exp quests give you now pretty much suck.

but yea this game is pretty easy now with all these daily quests and the FC to power level 80+.

first of all you dont really have to spend cash to level up in instances.
of course expect to pay some repair costs, maybe some teleports and hp/mp food and stuff but usually those costs are miniscule and covered by the instance (drops etc).
well, they are a bit more if you are tanking/healing.

the hyper stones are quite cheap if you use them 85+ (which is the lvl req for frost; you can enter even if you are lower but the instance is for 85+) and the item rewards of frost can be sold to found your hypers.

there are other instances that you can farm for money, of course dont expect to farm 1h and become a millionaire. money will be spend on armor/weapon/gems/refines mostly.
ofc do not expect to compete with players that spent >1k$ in the game.

about level cap: in theory it is 105. there's only one player that reached 105
typically you will stop at 100, maybe 101. at 100 you will be able to do anyhting so it's advice to focus on your gears (101 is the level req for a special set of armor, quite expensive. ~2k$).

note that there is nothing you cant get, you can buy items from the cash-shop by buying gold from other players or the items.

    Oh geeze. Where to start...

19-29 is the easiest, IMO, because you have quests. Quests get you rep. If you are old school and want to EARN your rep, take your time to play the game, and learn your character, quest all the way to level 65 or so, which is really when quests run out and you have to BH/CS daily to keep getting exp to level.

Twilight Temple quests are available at 60+. You can open the door at 60+. You can run solo mode at 60+. But you shouldn't have ANY problem doing TT runs 53+ with a good squad. You can get mats that way, learn how TT works, and get experience (not EXP) in how to deal with the hands without getting The Clap.

World Quest, Aka Paperclip, is available at level 70+, NOT level 80. It's boring, but totally free exp and spirit.

FCC is available at level 75, but goodluck finding squads at that level. Level 78 is about the lowest level you can find FCC squads in, and even then...

    Everything else has been covered.
    101 Sage Sin*/Archer
    100 Demon BM*/Barb
    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.
    *Pre RB level

i never started needing to grind properly untill i hit 60. but thats only because quests dont give alot of exp reward and i needed money without spending my real money. howver there are quests all the way up to the top as far as im aware (lvl 105) which only 1 person on pwi has reached to my knowledge.
pwi has a mostly fun and active community and if you can find a decent faction you will not get bored easily even if you are grinding as you can just make squads and grind together whilst talking. for some reason even if you dont spend cash in the game quests still get left behind @ lvl 50+ because of instance quests such as bh+fb, daily quests and people aoe grinding.

try the game. worst that can happen is you dont like it and decide to leave. its not like its gonna be a irriversable problemb:bye

p.s. be careful of server you choose. do not pick a pvp server if you do not like pvp as most people on pvp servers dont take into account level difference, as soon as you hit lvl 30 you can expect to be killed by others untill you are strong enough to fight back :) good luck
