How to turn Gold into profit?

So i finally got some gold (1 gold) and now i want to know how to turn it into profit?
I dont want to sell it... i just want to buy something with it that helps me to gain profit fast :)

    I don't think you can buy anything special with 1 gold (apart from some amazing fireworks). Why won't you sell it? It's at least 500k, and plus your current coins you could buy a lot of stuff from other players.

    You actually can't sell just one gold as far as I know, because of the silver fee.
    No clue what to buy though. Could try buying a few tiger packs and selling them.

    well i was silly and already bought it with 915k ...and i cant sell it too coz to sell gold u have to pay 2 silver which i dont really have :(

    Now is a bad time to buy gold lol. Wait until the rep sale is over and gold should drop back down a little. Scratch the packs suggestion, though. Buy some rep badges and try to sell them. I forgot about them xD

    Try doing some daily surveys for free zen and see if that gets you enough to pay the selling fee. PW main site > PW > top navigation > My Acct > Earn Zen.

    Good time to sell that 1 gold IF you had some silver handy, bad time to buy gold sadly, and unfortunately can't do too much with just 1 gold... you'd need at least 2g (or 1gold and some silver) to try your luck with the gold auction and work your way up to selling and buying more)

    I'd suggest just stashing some spare coins into gold account for when prices eventually drop down on your server, get some silver somehow -going to have to break that 1 gold into silvers eventually- or like one posters said, do survey and hope you got silver to cover the cost and sell that gold, HOLD onto the coins to buy gold LATER when it cheaper. Gold auction isn't going to be a fast way to make money because it takes time and effort to make some headway into the profits.

    Quick notes:

    Buy gold when it cheap (say you got gold when it 400k each)
    Sell gold when it higher than when you bought it (say gold now avg price of 450k)

    and NEVER sell for lower than what you bought it for (if gold below 400k... just wait until it goes above what you paid, hence why it takes time).
