just had to say it. Big Red a.k.a Nefarious, the once feared faction, is disappearing from the map. I figure that by Christmas they will no longer have any land.

Regicide is the new force to deal with, although if they don't fix the drama I've been hearing rumors about, that's not gonna last long either.

TW on Sanctuary is actually getting exciting. It's not the story of one big faction rolling everyone over anymore. Battles are actually interesting to watch/attend and the ultimate winner is not so cut-and-dried as it used to be. If this is what the change in TW system brings, why is everyone complaining about it?

    Nef seems to be rebuilding. They've gotten new members lately, just like all big factions. If the map gets completely blue one day, Vindi and Nef (maybe with Leg, Enel or Amp) double/triple attacking will be a hard fight and something Regi has been looking forward to.

    Also, people always seem to hate the big faction. Now it's the Big Blue instead of Big Red.

    Don't forget that you can stalk factions with Core Connect search :D

    That's why the only faction I'm in involve all my vent / real life friends b:victory

    As with any big faction, it's definitely not the power factor that will dissipate it but the members.

    It's why I stay away from big factions. I'm happy being in a level 1 faction with less than 10 members but a very active one that always does things together (farm HH, do FF, etc.) and is always honest.

    People hate big factions because all these people flock to big factions that happen to be "winning", and thus big factions become a gathering ground of egotistical pricks that nobody likes. If you ask anyone that hated Nef, LG, or Regi, they almost will always tell u about someone in particular that they don't like.

    Unfortunate but very true. It's also true that it doesn't apply to everyone in the faction. No matter which way you look at it, when a faction recruits almost entirely based on level and gear and doesn't consider the nature of the person...this will always happen. This fact has also led to a large number of good-natured high level players refusing to be a part of large tw factions.

    Been a very long point since the case the little hamster made was true of Nefarious. Sanctuary does have factions like that though~

    Yep this is unfortunate and concerning this point Regicide has chosen a different path for its application procedure that includes other than gear requirement as well.

    It is also worth to notice that all three factions (Nef, LG & Regi) have a different gaming culture and hence were perceived differently by their members and nonmembers what doesn't mean that any of them was good or bad but specific.     b:cute

    :D That's what's been happening here to our white faction ( ahem I'll refrain from using another name for it ) QQme and right now it has no equal , don't know if even 3-ways will work . Yet there's still some time before the map is gonna be 1 color .

    We're just gonna TW against each other for fun tho . 3-ways are pretty boring , it's like " roll & no show " , I'd take a fun & balanced 1v1 any day . Too bad it'll eventually be needed when the map is 1 color b:surrender


    Gah , and here I wanted to go to FW .

    A few months from now, you'll see Regicide in Nefarious' role and some other faction taking Regicide's role. That is, Regicide becomes the Big Evil and this other faction becomes the Savior of Sanctuary.

    Either that, or TheDan becomes the first-ever Monarch of Sanctuary.

    Oh and yeah, any dominant faction will eventually become infested with egotistical pricks and other dislikable people. This is because the only way a dislikable person is going to get into a top TW faction is by having great gear and therefore being a noticable factor in TW. And any dominant faction obviously wants to keep winning, so they have to let at least some of these dislikable people into the faction.

    Those developments have nothing to do with the GMs taking the coin rewards out of TW..

    Remember all that time ago when no one heard of Regicide and the map was split between Nef and Leg? Then Leg people came over to nef and whooped legs butt? But now Leg is actually good? Yah same story will apply to nef soon.

    Lmao Regi has actually been around since the near beginning of Sanctuary. And they were quite good back then too. But between disloyal members and the rapid rise of Nef and Leg they had to bide their time till now. And as long as i can remember TheDan has been the leader of that guild. So they have consistency on their side as they are mostly familiar with the leadership.

    I dunno but before Regicide actually became Regicide Regicide was actually a combination of 2 certain guilds...one of them been Rebirth so indeed your right however I will have to contradict the part about 'Regicide' been good since the beginning of Sanctuary but than again I think all guilds got better in time so was what we know today as 'Regicide' so when you think about it the guild itself is quite new compared to Legendary and Nefarious and had to go through of rebuilding :)

    To stay on topic yes but no guild did it alone :) could not have been done without the help of other guild working together

    P.S. Mini has a smexy 101 WIZ O.O must seeeeeee! and Hi MagicPimp your server looks like is about to get boring...another reason why we must play FW 8D

    rebirth merging is way WAY later. If your talking 2008 it was KillaBee or something near that name (had a BEE in it) >.>

    Lol i wasn't around when Rebirth deal went down. I was there at the beginning when it took about 3 squads to take down the TheDan cause no one knew what the hell they were doin X3. It was a time where there was still PVE TWs......Man i Miss those days >.>b:sad

    Good enough to get their butts kicked by Ravenous, Legendary, NWO, Shockwave, Wiccan, Outlaw and even Steel back in those days. Basically, Regicide was the underdog of the underdogs. I think that's why it was such a major shock when they actually stood up against Nefarious and even won land the very first time. The members were expecting those same unorganized underdogs, as was said by one certain BM; "Don't worry about them."

    When I first joined the game, Nef had just about the whole map haha. IMO though they started dying out right around the time of the TW change.
