Tax Notice

So today i got a $20 prepaid card and it came with tax, when was taxes added to cards and why wasn't we notified? (If we were then i should get new glasses.)

Me hope this was a mistake of the store and not a real thing...

    We cannot control local and state government laws unfortunately so it is very possible that your local laws now enforce taxes on prepaid cards which we do know that some laws passed recently that adds a tax to those transactions. If you have purchased them from this same location in the past without a tax included, you can call the store and find out why they have charged you that additional tax on the purchase. It is very likely that you live in an area that now adds this to the purchase but calling the store first will let you know exactly why if they have the information available.

    Shnuggles long time no see, last time i saw you i had accidently put gold on the wrong server.

    The store i got it from is from the state above mine so i guess thats why. Thanks for the useful answer.b:victory

    I bought some cards the other day and i didnt get taxed.You have to live in a state like Oregon where there is no sales tax :)

    Just buy 'em from 7/11

    Those guys....man their idiots some times >.>.....

    I actually took 2 or 3 of the cards to the counter and paid for it with a magic trick.....I still don't know how the hell that worked....b:curled

    lol i went to 7-11 brought 2 cards up to the counter before he activated them both and somehow i only got charged for 1 of the cards he handed me them both and said oh one of these didnt activate so i am giving them to you cause i dont know which one didnt. i said oh ok and i typed in both of the cards and they worked xD.
