I hate them, thy so stupid thinking that +8 will give more dmg then to add 2 G11 sep gems
This noob "cleric" got a rank8 and its +7 with 2 G8's in and this was the reading from
PWI Calculator
+7 with 2 G8's Magic Atk. 7660-8863
+8 with 2 G8's Magic Atk. 8076-9279
+7 with 2 G11's Magic Atk. 8143-9346
as you can see that the best value for coin is +7 with 2 G11's
(On PWI Calculator i only use the weapon and no gears, for any trolls that says its low dmg)
This is only one story of the rank 8 era, feel free to add ur storys
some of them are ok others i want to RPK till thy "drop" that weapon and QQ to pwi

How was ur guild chat for the first few days, (only the ones with most land) it **** me of with the spam of every wannabe shift clicking there rank8 wep.
p.s did not pay 600mil for rank8 but sure as hell know how to play the game better then some of them wannabes and ur a wannabe if you post somting about the game is dead get over it, or cool story bro, or its a cash shoppers game

Eh, maybe he hasn't gotten around to buying sapphire gems or been lucky enough with refining to get to +8. My sin has nirvana daggers +2, after like 2400 mirages and god knows how many stones. Maybe next time ask before you assume b:bye0

What does this persons weapon choice, level refine and shard type matter to anyone else but them. Noob is when they don't know how to use their skills appropriately, but in this gear dependent age the only measure of skill seems to be how much damage PWI calculator generates for your gear.

I used in game cash to get rank 8 on my sin. I don't have enough cash to buy a G8 dragon orb; I can refine for cheaper using mirages and tishas anyways, I just haven't gotten the coin/materials together for another refining attempt. I'm not a noob, as a cleric, sin, at refining, rank 8, or otherwise.

OP has a valid point. It's so much fun beating up Rank 8 noobs in PK and looking at their awesome, badly sharded and refined weapons. Of course it'd be okay if they didn't have money for better shards/refines but seriously, +10 DoT sharded weapons without any other DoTs in the armor? b:chuckle100% F2P player. The only thing OP got was lucky--- There's not a lot of people who can afford Rank 8 who can't afford the shards to go with it.
The OP was either very lucky to run into a poor rank 8, OR Rank'd cleric is a nab, and doesn't know how to play.0 -

a +7 rank 8 bow is better than a +10 Heaven Shatterer
because of the sale and everyone trying to reshard their new equipments- Citrine Gems have shot from 14 mil to 24 mil, Garnet Gems have shot from 14 mil to 24 mil, Sapphire Gems have shot from 3 mil to 8-9 mil... the only thing that is relatively cheap is still DoTs and regular shards like immacs and flawless
its likes people who put immacs. in their G15 nirvana while they are trying to buy Gems to go into their gear...
there is nothing wrong with investment if it pays off in the long run- nothing really noob about it
what will interest me... is people going for rank 9 weapon, i hope they do research and figure out what they really want cuz... rank 9 wep refines worse than G15 nirvana (according to pwi calc and database) sure... +30 attack level... awesome... but as much as you are going to spend getting it you could spend re-rolling your G15 nirvana to get +20 attack level and have better attack. meh... anyways...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

lol i waited til i got the gems i wanted, not sure how crappy gems help, kill a boss 2 sec faste, try and pking some one then fails mwhahaha no long run there if u can get rank8 you sure as hell can get the right shards for it as 2 g11 > anyting from +1 to +8 not sure about +9 have not tested it out0 -

Meh everyone uses shiet shards while saving up for real ones, thats not very noob its more like normal. Most players have stacks of sapphire/garnets shards from Frost in their bank anyway so he probably used a few of those. Weapon is +8 because orbs are on sale and he has a credit card. Gems are the opposite atm so the "noob cleric" is probably waiting for g11 sapph gems to drop in price, they went up a few mil after everyone got rank8.
I would probably do the same if played a magic class and just got rank8.0 -
I love how brave op is hiding behind a lvl 1 alt talking **** about another player acting like he is a complete pro cause he "owned" a cleric that had gear refined and sharded a certain way from my point of view op sounds like someone who got owned instead of doing the owning[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Hey now, my weapon's only got perfects in there and not refined +7-8 (it actually does more damage at +3 than my last weapon did at +7). It's something called coin that some people just don't have yet. Sapphire gems on DW have gone from 4.5 mil to something like 7-9 mil a pop. For some people, getting 7-9 mil isn't as easy as swiping a credit card. I don't have my top sharded yet because I am waiting to get immaculates, until I can afford the 13-mil-a-pop garnet gems. Which may be a while because this sale (and many others) warped the economy.

i suspect thread is veiled bragging about how awesome you are cause you can kill people with a better weapon than they had last week. rank 8 has equivalent defenses to TT99 (100 or so pdef on the HA, +100 or so mdef on the arcane, and refines the same. the weapon is obviously better. but if you're stunlocking, or occult icing, it doesnt really matter how powerful someones weapon is if they dont get the chance to use it.

My R8 was bought for me by my friend.. so it has no refines (they are +2) and no Gems... why? Beucase I ain't got the coin ATM to do it... It'll get there good Refines don't happen over night for most people! Some people put Other Sahrds in while they save up for more... Don't be a hater on people espeically if you don't know them, it just makes you look like an ***.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

My sins R8 daggers are only going to have 2 Immac Garnets dumped into them and be +d to 3/4... Why is this noob lol? Its basically free compared to doing much better, and I dont currently have the coin for the Drakeflame and Primevil im putting in them. Seriously, explain why +64 Phy attack is worse than +0?
Look at how much weapons genrally increase in power each stage (TT for example) its usually only about 100.
