What do you think would happen if no one donated for 1 month.

2 weeks of sale attempts then 1 weeks notice the game is closeing. They wont keep servers up if no money is comming in to pay for them.

PWI is bought over by the triads and they'll force everyone in the game to buy items from the catshop or they'll hunt you down.

1st thing to happen: people will push gold prices in ah to like 1 mill per g.... oh, wait...

ontopic: prolly all the above will happen >.< I suspect more packs, even more packs, then they will bring out rank 10. If that doesn't work warsoul for cheap, in the end they will probably bring out hyper hyper hyper exp that will get you to lvl 50 after killing a lvl 1 mob at lvl one > pwi will turn to private server > pwi will shut servers down because everyone moves to a private server.

Orbs are on sale. Once rare fashion is on sale. Black and white dyes are even cheaper than before. Rep is on sale. Hair is on sale. Packs are on sale.

They're actually killing the game themselves slowly. When anni packs were first released at 1g each, players bought them in massive bulk, duke spammed walls of red text and the markets were flooded with endgame gear.

However, look what happened that week they sold sunshine packs. Anni pack clones, 1g each. Sold next to none. Token prices started climbing rapidly as there was a demand and no supply. Duke went quiet. No one was impressed because they wanted their tigers at 0.7 gold each thanks to the bulk sale last week.

So eventually to gain back the over-the-top sales, they had to give in and yet again crash the price of packs. Demand shot through the roof again. But of course something like this is only temporary. They can't sell packs at normal price ever again and expect massive sales. Eventually people will even get bored of 50 silver packs. As for the rep sale, it only shows exactly how far they have to go to keep making the same high profits.

And obviously, as a side effect, the more sales, the more gold rises. Inevitably since they can only make sales cheaper/more awesome, the price of gold can only get higher, and will do so. At this rate PWI must continually make their sales better and better to keep the cash shoppers interested, which drops off all F2P and casual players.

Really depends on how far the cash shoppers are happy to endure before they finally stop the "stop QQ game is not dead nerdrage" blind ignoring of the truth and realize that what they're playing is a P2P version of a private server. 50 gold warsouls and 10m gold is absolutely possible in the near future.
