Snowman droprate

Just got curious today, and since snowmen are programmed into the game thought I'd check it on PW database. Closest match I found was this guy who seems pretty accurate.

As you can see, he has a whopping 95% chance to reward you with absolutely nothing. The most rarest drop is perfect stone and eye of ****. Pretty much just for show and fueling up your genie, though time-wise you'd still be better off earning cash other ways and buying chi.

Then noticed somewhere in the system we have these guys, that the devs and GM's decidedly didn't want to give us.

10 item drop count and guaranteed to get at least something. Massive drop on DQ frags and decent chance of mirages/celes. Now that would be an event. Gotta love the devs. b:surrender

    If I recall right, these were the 'event snowmen' that we had to kill outside the cities relating to a quest

    Had to kill a certain one to get little Yaoyuns snowman nose

    Yea,h having easily farmable mobs that drop mirages DURING a bigass refining sale would just make too much sense.

    well those snowmans havent been ingame that early in december last year, maybe they change somethin when we r getting closer to xmas b:pleased

    Grim, didn't you read the label? It says you are supposed to wear safety glasses before shooting off fireworks b:laugh Plus be supervised by an adult....

    Didn't no one's ever teach you not to point the boom stick at yourself?

    Really the snowmen don't lag me too bad, but they do lag. I normally just shoot a plume shot at them here and there and go on my merry way. Much easier and better ways to play the game than stay in the city all day.
