Very long " I have quit PWI/going to FW" thread

Hmm , okay I guess I should say a few words :
After reading FW forums for hours yesterday + some today as well as watching some vids I can say that I'm pretty hyped up for it . Looks to be even more anticipated than PWI was when it opened and you actually see the community being replied & listened to on general discussions . I was surprised myself how easy it gets to let go of PWI if you have your friends with you & can move on to something better - just shows how much attraction I had to this game , apparently almost none , it was TW and some crappy pvp which now sucks regardless .
There are those complaining that they didn't get into CB phases but that's pretty stupid , it's not like it's OPEN + every1 will get a chance to play CB phase 4 b4 the game is officially released .
PWI Forums ? Yes they are entertaining atm so I'll just post whenever , FW won't be out for a while anyway .
They seem to put all their focus on FW atm and probably using most money they get from PWI to make FW a much better game while letting this one slowly dye & milk every single penny from it's remaining player base .
Now before I receive replies like " Rofl , another game by the same company? You're stupid to even consider it , it'll end up the same way as PWI , ijs . " then save yourself the time and don't post it . Of course I'm already expecting that , I'd be stupid not to but tons of you don't even know how great PWI was in it's 1st year and I'm looking to forward to enjoy a game because it's good and not just because of the community . It might follow the same road as PWI or it might not , doesn't matter to me - I've always had short term goals and tried to enjoy the moment .
I plan to enjoy FW because it looks like a good game along with friends , not alone , for as long as it's fun & enjoyable . When it becomes just like PWI and it's no longer fun to us then we'll simply quit it .
I did enjoy this server for quite a while then it just started to get boring like every other server in PWI , especially being a PVE one . You'd even notice that my gears were somewhat above average compared the rest of the server till a few months ago but I started upgrading it slower & slower as I was slowly loosing my motivation to play the game for itself , not just for friends . I even used to CS every once in a while in case I needed a quick boost to get some gears since I hate waiting , gotta enjoy the moment since end-game here blows yet I stopped completely after a while when seeing some1 get 10x more of what I could charge or even farm with the click of a pack . And no that's not right , yes I tried to ignore it but when it affects your game play then it's hard to ignore it yet I still did ( and it was stupid ) however , the motivation became less & less and now this was last straw .
"Hello I started playing this game 1 month ago , lvled like very fast ( what are quests? what's rebirth? what's lunar? what's trophy mode , what's TW? how do I turn pk mode on? ) got to 100 , used 72$ and got r8 . o.O this is called rank 8? Idk how you get it otherwise but it looks OP and cheap so I got it ." - that's how PWI is right now .
Lvl 101 blademaster - TheMagicPimp
Factions I've been in - Imperium(lol1week) , Empire(thedeadversion) , Varden , Leviathan ;
Short-term goals I've had & achieved :
- rank 1 bm on RT's bm pvp list ;
- to see how far skill vs gear can go and the results are - very far in 1v1 , still far in small fights , not that far in mass fights like TW and very little in PVE ;
- to get more involved in a faction & become an officer and experience how it's like - from member to executor > marshal > director > leader , I know I wasn't great but I think I did decent ; I wanted to stop at marshal but at the same time I didn't want to deny director and as for leader,I didn't want this at all but I was fully against the other option so I agreed on leading ( and no I'm not QQ'ing about this since I choose to do it ) ;
Latest goal that I didn't get to achieve :
- help levi get strong and prove some people wrong , no matter how they'd respond or what they'd say ;
I think that's all , sry if I missed anything but the post's long enough already
I'm basically inactive now , if I log on from time to time don't think that I'm coming back or actually playing . I'm still gonna be posting on the forums for a while now , or log if I feel like it but I've pretty much quit this game and have no reason to play it .
Most of my friends are gonna go to FW and I have them on msn/skype already . But I'm probably gonna get more in the next days , might also be a main reason if you see me on .
I finally have 0 reasons to play this game - everything that I ever liked in it has been ruined and I've got most of my friends coming with me to something better .
And I can say that I'm happy about this since it finally got me & others to give up on this game for good .
Open your eyes people , pack your things , grab your friends & move on to whatever game ( if you still wanna play games anymore) you want , you won't regret it .
My FW forum nick will be " pimpeh " btw :P

This is the general summary of what I'm hearing at this point. We get the point. Everyone knows everyone is going to Forsaken World. Everyone knows this game sucks. Yet it obviously can't be too bad if you people keep logging in. Don't use the "I wanna see my friends" garbage. As I've said before: add them on whatever messenger/social networking site you use and be on your merry way. By continuing to log in, and by buying gold, you are essentially telling PWI that it was alright to ruin this game. With the same crowd going to FW, more than likely doing the same thing they did here, we can look forward to it going downhill within the year.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

<---played PWI since open beta. The first year of FW will not be the same as PWI. In the earlier days the atmosphere was entirely different. PWE as a company was relatively inexperience as far as profit making was concerned (they've improved quickly though). The game was largely the same for about a year until the brilliant idea of anniversary pack came out. That was not only an anniversary idea, but it introduced a huge profit spike for PWE and they never looked back since. Do you think that FW will have a YEAR before they impose the same profit-making strategies to that game?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I've played PWI for 2 years now and yeah, PWI had its amazing great times.
But the reason I'm not going to move on to FW from PWI is because well...
When PWI crashed and so many people quit, it hurt a ton to see them all go.
I don't want to go through the same thing one more time.
Not sure why you'd want to experience and feel the same thing again but mhmm..
I'm just going to quit and stay out of the gaming world.

yes it does cuz is an Asian mmorpg BUT is not from PWE. doesnt have a cash shop yet (yeah yeah i know that eventually is going to have a cs) but the versatility of the characters make it dif to any game of PWE. Hope! a melee cleric wtf lol.
Edit: and ikr? in a few months im going to be talking about mmorpgs with my irl friends and 3 of them already play this game LOL

Why? So it'll be like PWI when people didn't quit when packs were out. If you've played a game for a year you are less likely to quit than if you've played a game for a month.
