so ive gone through countless posts in my insomnia induced sleeplessness (38 hours w/o sleep yay) b:surrender and ive notice an astonishing number of people are saying this game is dead. well if thats the case i invite all the "Fatalists" (yes im trying to coin a new term for these ppl) b:victory to sell there stuff and mail me the coins my faction would greatly appreciate the donation and would help the faction out alot and your name would gain a place on the wall of contributors on my factions forum. the name to mail to is the one i am posting on and the leader of the faction so i will make sure it goes to the faction bank. to those actually interested (likely not many) and would like to know what faction you would be donating to our name is "wrapped" b:thanks

P.S. can anyone think of a better term for these ppl other than Fatalists?
P.S.S i still love this game and to those that say its because i dont know what the old players have been through look at my join date October 3rd 2008 was the full date i made my account,

tbh.. (and i assume were on about the rank thing here now) I think that those "older players" who "worked their butts off" to get rank (if they even managed to do it) still payed for it - so i dont think there's really any room to complain for them. Those with the elite builds either payed cash for it in the first place - or else sat on lots of TW land and could afford to pay for it that way. I honestly cannot envision anyone farming tirelessly for that kind of build. Maybe im wrong... but thats just my P.O.V.

OTOH, I see newb players complaining about having had to "work their butts off" to get their 10k rep from simply being lucky and getting lots of darkness stamps in BH runs ... and are upset that rank 8 now costs $70 (or 70 mil however you look at it)... Those people IMO can **** since my barb really did work its butt off just to get 6030 rep through quests and fb's and rarely a darkness stamp. not a single wraith officers badge did i buy for my barb.

Well, actually... I do not think the game is dead... Not yet. Just that people worry too much about kick-*** gears. If they could remember how to just sit around, talk, have a fun time and play this game just for it's unique charm, it would be more relaxed and friendly in my honest opinion.

Gears; it's all pixels. You can have a ton of awesome pixels but if that ton of awesome is not within your heart as well, then what for? You can be the lowest level out there amongst end-gamers; with starting armor and no weapon at all. But if you act as you should, and if you play the game in a awesome and relaxed manner, you'd get more respect and more friends. Because you actually play for fun, and not for fame.

Heh XD Carebear! That would be a cute nickname. But seriously, games are out there for fun and for people to enjoy them... They are not really meant to be "srs bsns" because real life is already too serious business - we need a place to fool around sometimes and forget all that gloomyness, lol ^_^

if you want a sport go play some hockey or something this is video game where you dont have to beat every opponent you see because theres no serious repercussions. people come on here after a hard days work to relax and forget there bad days. your characters name is my career and i like to come on to not think about the kid i saw die last week. everyone just needs to relax. as the old saying goes its just a game. and btw mmorpg's are also refered to as social online games, in other words (my own) big fluffy chat room in which you can do stuff in the intervals of talking. b:bye

Yeah, bones and muscles hurting once you get back home. O.o Very relaxing... Not to mention the sweat, oh, pleasant odour~ People usually steer away from the onion smell XD

But comparing online MMO's to sports is not very palpable compare, sports give you a nice body in the end and MMO's give you pixels... Not very alike. o.O So yes, the saying "it's just a game" is right. I second that.

Sports, when you are still a child, is hard work, as opposed to sitting on your *** in a class.

PWI is not a social game, it is a meat feast pk contest.

If you're here to socialize, good for you, but this game was not intended for that purpose, go to those social places where you sit with random people and talk for hours for that b:cute

You get levels to be able to kill other players.
You get kick butt gear to be able to kill other players.
You reach level 105 to be able to have more advantage to kill other players.
You refine your gear to be stronger than other players.
You purchase faster mounts / flyers to be faster than other players.
You buy pets (venos) to be able to kill other players (nix).
You get stealth (assassin) to back stab other players.

What is the point of this game again? *cough*

If your goal is beat every monster, you don't need any endgame gear for that... just a proper squad. In the end it will be boring and you will start pvping
