    Its really starting to come together nicely :)

    We aren't TWing this weekend, not till we have a stronger roster to fight with. Its growing steadily at the moment though, and the players we do have are all high quality and skilled. With quite a few people looking to join in the very near future too, watch this space!

    Eh, I don't know Isa about the "all high quality and skilled". I did an FF on my archer earlier with one of your BMs, he was fine. But he recruited a sin in to the faction that's level 100 with about 4.5k HP and had no idea on how to play his class to it's maximum potential.
    It seems at the moment it's just a "invite who ever you can" sort of thing without people having to apply or anything.

    I tend to have bad experiences with "serious" TW faction that don't have a proper recruitment standard. As in people have to apply, and be accepted by either the officers or at least have the other members get a say in the process.

    I wish you the best of luck, although personally I don't see this working. You need a much bigger foundation to start a good TW faction (or bribe people to join). Seeing as you don't bribe people (?).
    You're going to have to get in a few TW fights and show that you're not just one of the 239829382938 "future TW factions" on the server. But you could actually deliver a punch or two.
    Regardless of the amount of people in your faction atm, you should still bid and fight. Even if there's the slightest chance of winning or even being able to see how well your faction works together, should be an opportunity that you shouldn't let slip.

    protip: Try to outbid Enrage when they no-show Drakon and try to take it back.

    No no, I meant when you guys no show Drakon during ganks with Rad, they end up with a piece of land which you always take back from them the next week.
    But if they manage to outbid you guys on that piece of land that Drakon gets by getting no showed, they get to fight Drakon instead of getting roflstomped in 3 minutes fighting Enrage.

    I completely agree with the sentiments of your post Jha and I'm glad you brought up your concerns.

    We do have an application process in place, with requirements too, in fact we have already told a couple of people to reapply when they have improved their gear. This is certainly not a faction that will take anyone just to bulk up the numbers. Check out maxim.freeforums.org to see what our requirements are right now.
    Of course it is just not possible to ask applicants to prove that they not only meet gear requirements, but understand their class too. Every single powerful faction ends up with a few players who probably shouldn't be there. We are trying to keep those to an absolute minimum.

    We have picked one of the most difficult times to start a new TW faction. With many in the recent past failing to deliver, we already knew we would be looked on with skepticism initially. The reason we have chosen this time however, is that while it will be one of the most difficult times, it will also be the most rewarding when we get it right.
    People are disillusioned with the failures of the recent past and are hungry for something they can really get their teeth in to. When we have shown that we are that faction, the resulting progress will be astronomical.
