Asking about clerics

Hey, i'm new to PW just thought id drop by the forums and ask a few questions while the game is downloading.

I was wondering if battle clerics were plausible while using melee and based around buffing yourself if possible. How would they fare in pvp and in party's(i think its called something different in PW but you know what i mean)

If it is possible what skills should i invest in etc?

    Well unless you use a magic weapon you can't use any of your buffs or skills.

    Some clerics I know are light armor and they are more of a fighting class with higher survivability than arcane clerics, so maybe try that?

    Alright thanks i might try a light armor build i saw one in the beginner guide

    Only fails to you maybe. I've seen plenty who don't fail, you obviously haven't known any who can play them. XD

    Im kinda an mmo/rpg veteran i think i can handle it. :D
    Doing pretty well level 14, fairly easy game so far though id expect it to get harder. I hope it gets harder x.x
