History repeats.....

There is a game this one is but a mirror image of, my friend used to play alot.
About seven years ago they made the exact same move PWE did today.
My friend quit, however...

The game in question did not only recover but just had two recent updates...


ps. This friend got permabanned from pwi for having a racist nameb:laughb:laughb:laugh

    Pertty sure its against ToS but ok.

    It's basicly a 2D PWI, from China to.

    Its far from perfect but not dead, thats my point.

    It took nearly 6 months for LC to recover after the intial exodus caused by Anipacks.

    There are too many good games on the horizon.

    This latest update screwed over all the people who purchased rank 8 and nirvana gear before this.

    This latest update screws over all the players who don't cash shop.

    This game is only good for lvl 1-90. Anything after that... it's a waste.

    Hm not really sure only time can answer . .
    I am still reading the forum and game feature you just mentioned to find out is it have almost the same design in concept (not game play or graphic) with PW, so we got a hope if it is ?

    PWI doesn't have any need to recover. The new expansion will bring enough players for PWE to get by until FW is released, at wich point it will go the same way as PWI did (downhill)

    I honestly don't think it will. Much of the "recovery" was actually older players coming back to roll tideborns. There was a recent influx of newer players and the "new breed" players... but forcing out the older players, both f2p and cash shoppers, the only people left will be ones spending money, and they'll stop and leave when they realize the server populations dropped by 50-75%.

    Platinum Charms are now 7.5m+.

    And then FW can be the cash cow.

    They might not pay much attention to PWI.

    They might just ** up FW instead of PWI.

    Thats a game i played,and watched fail...the pvp was godly in that,put pws to shame...but made most of my gears obsolete when they brought out the new class along with those stupid talismans etc

    I left that during a mass exodus of players,had no idea it has recovered though,didn't think it ever could O.o

    You're right too,the paralells between that and pw is crazy.

    all they need to do is put commercials on tv like other games and draw ppl in with the new expansion. after all, they are gonna make a killing off of this sale =)
