Lost City vs Harshlands?

I just decided to re-roll my Sin in a PVP server. I been playing in Sanctuary. Anyways I wanted to know which server is better to PK in? I was gonna do Lost City but then I herd it was dead and so that many people never PK. Don't sound fun. I hear Harshlands is full of noobs and PK'ing happens alot more. I do not intend to level majorly, I'm just planning on going player killing as soon as I hit 30. In fact as soon as I go white name, I wanna go straight to city of the plume and find me some squishy elves to slaughter lol

I love PK'ing in most games. I wanna know which server has more people? And which server soots my style of playing? I'm not one to let my target know I'm gonna attack, in fact, I'd probably attack just after they finish killing a mob or when they're already near death. Call me what you want but I have a good time doing it. Isn't that what games are made for? A good time? Either way where to go? Harshlands or Lost City?b:victory

Also what are the unwritten rules of PK servers as I am new to PWI PK. I herd something that it's frowned upon not to let someone know when you're gonna attack them. That true? Might as well duel if it is.

    In all seriousness i would say LC. I've been on both, and the community on LC is alot more active than that of HL. In the 2 weeks i was on HL i got not a single fac invite, but the second i went to arch on LC i got like 3.

    Go play in traffic, I'm using the forums the way they're supposed to be. I wanna know what PVP server is better, opinion wise by the other players.

    You can't pk someone unless they're white-named which doesn't happen until 30. So no, you can't go and slaughter level 1s in Plume. At 30, you're more likely to be the one slaughtered rather than killing others.

    I know that, but by level 30 I should be able to kill archer and magic users pretty quick. Quit being a pain in the bum and get off your rag.

    He already made 2 threads before this one. First was still open before he made the 2nd Pretty much saying all the same thing... if both of those got locked, I consider this one spam.

    I'm new to this so I don't know how to erase a thread and how could this be marked as spam since it's a totally different Q? Last thread I wanted to know if sins were worth keeping in PVE and if I should re-roll on PvP. Now that I know I wanted to know IN THIS thread which server is better of PVP. I didn't get answered last thread since people were arguing with eachother about nothing. Still also wanna know the un-written rules of PVP. Kinda like how who ever is doing an FB, erll the unwritten rule says they get the molds and 3* items. I wanna know some rules like that for PVP servers.

    Thread 1:

    Well I have a lvl 40 barb on the Sanctuary server and a lvl 40 sin. I was leveling my sin today and thought..."the only reason I chose to use a sin was because he could hold his own against other players" and realized why would I need a sin in a PVE server anyways. I was thinking would it be wise to drop the sin in Sanc. and begin one in a PVP server? My sin already has good daggers, fashion and a mount but hey, more money for my barb which he will later despereately need, am I right?     p.s. I am aware that you can PVP in Sanctuary. But it seems lame to me. only lvl 80+ really do it regularly and plus its always in a few select areas. I wanna be that dbag that stalks players doing their own thing then ambush and kill them. I actually enjoy PVP for the sake of defeating people, don't care much for items rewards. Opinions

    I have a lvl 40 Barb and a lvl 40 Sin with all 3 star armour and weapon, plus an 11m/s mount and well rounded off. I was thinking if sins are any use in PvE servers? I really wanna have one in a Pvp Server to kill players because I love the idea of hunting down people minding their own buisness and ruining their day !! But I don't really want two sins. Should I stay in PvE or should I go to PvP?? Is it hard to lvl in PvP? Which PvP server is best? Lost city? Also would it be that bad having 2 sins? HELP!

    Don't know about other threads on this or not but going to give my opinion for whatever it's worth.

    My mains are on Sanctuary. Re-rolled on both LC and HL to try the PvP thing.

    LC - Found a lot more high levels here who absolutely love to PK players 30-40-50-60 lvls below themselves. Not my play style so don't play there much anymore. At the same time though - not being used to a PvP server, I was probably just unprepared for that type of attitude and style.

    HL - You're right about this being less active if what you're looking for is faction invites and chit char at low levels. Seem to be a lot more cliques that don't look beyond themselves for their fun. Still have high levels going for low levels, but just didn't seem as rampant as on LC.

    So take your pick. Both are good servers. ANd if you're really want to be PK'g at level 30 -- silver pool is best cause that's where the low lvls generally hit 30. Of course - watch out for the standard high level pk fun that goes on there and in hidden orchid -- same as on Sanctuary.

    OP you really should have asked this question in your 1st thread. Now to your question. I would seriously think about making a char on the server that is closest to you location so you have the least amount of lag possible.
    Nothing like lagging in the middle of a fight and ending up dead.

    Well you can pk all you want.. But be sure that at lvl 30 you are at the lowest end of the food chain. So if you really only do attack people that are already nearly dead and camp them, you will not be able to leave safezone for a very long time..

    Didnt bother reading the thread.

    Harshlands wins. People from lost city have complained on this board TOO MUCH about the PVP that goes on in their PVP SERVER.

    Dont worry, soon as you kill someone and flag red im sure a lvl 100 on either server can hit you so hard your find yourself back in sanctuary.

    Well to everyone telling me I can't kill a mage, archer or cleric when I hit 30, I meant that I could take on close to my lvl. Of course I won't be able to kill someone over 40 levels above me.

    Is there a good number of beginners on LC? (I chose LC ^^) Or is it high lvls and a handful of fresh meat?
