Thinkalot probably said it the best. I don't know how many times people have to keep telling all of the whining, complaining, moaning, groaning, and bytching players that each class has its disadvantages in battle, to INCLUDE the Tideborn.
Blademasters have 5aps, AoE's, a bleed that hurts like a ****, and they can catch up to you so easy, it's not even funny. Thankfully, they're magically squishy.
Wizards will nuke the living hell out of you, especially if you're Mag squishy. However, if you're a physical class and can actually get to them, they die in like three hits.
Venomancers have their own personal tanks and QQbirds. If you can get rid of the Venomancer first however, the pet no longer becomes an issue.
Barbarians hit like hell and have a ton of HP. It's a good thing their Magdef sucks, and from time to time you find a barb who swings at you like he's blindfolded.
Clerics can put you to sleep, purify, and spam heal. However, they're very vulnerable to physical classes.
Archers have evasion and crit. But of course their defense on both ends is rather average.
Assassins can turn invisible, have bleed, 5aps, and can put status effects on you. It's a good thing that they don't have such great defense.
Psychics can use their soul skills to take you out if you're too stupid to realize you've been soulburned. However, they're the squishiest sons of fishes you will ever see.
QQbirds arent even an issue at 10x.TheEmpire

These days most people with QQbirds don't have the guts to pick on 10x, and it honestly depends on which class and what gear they're wearing; but that's besides the point.0 -

And... assassins don't have great defense made me lol. Of course they don't have great resistances, because they have skills to compensate for that. I also like how you mentioned "bleed" as one of sins' characteristics, one of the most worthless freaking skills and status ailment endgame.

Indeed Astrelle.
But the question is, what do they do with all the money? I mean they have an hourly income of 720 $ a day just with teles. Then packs get opened every minute, mounts, fashion sells like warm bread. It has to be a lot of money. Why not invest in a good programmer who makes the desired changes?Feel free to PM me for help.

A game like PWI needs to constantly bring in more people and that means being able to advertise new content / new cash shop items.
Fixing bugs and balancing classes does not make any immediate money so how are you going to get a manager to approved allocating developers towards that? Every single project must have some projected financial gain before it is approved.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I'm pretty amused at those players defending the notion that the classes are all balanced. This isn't a strategy game and balance is far from its selling point.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Which I actually understand. Having old players = high level characters = no need to buy gold = no profit.Feel free to PM me for help.

Psy:
I used to have problems with Psychics, they hit fast and hard, can make themselves immune to physical damage for 8 seconds and have huge reflect potential. I became much less worried about them when nice 100 Psy in the faction I had just joined, go Tempest, sat down with me after I had taken a 5 month break from the game and went over the psychic's weaknesses pretty explicitly, TY WeirdPsychic.
I educated myself farther on the exact details of their skills, what they can and cannot do.
I now have no issue with Psychics because I learned their weaknesses, I know what to look for now. Most importantly, there is something there to see. I can check the buff bars for reflects and immunities, I can wait/kite those out or switch attack types. Strong second note here is if you hit a psychic first with some stun or seal, follow up with some Patk or strong magic with defense debuffs. they are dead. Period. They have a max range of 28.5M shorter than all the ranged classes but venos. The soul of stunning, stun reflect, and soul of retaliation, damage reflect, can't be run at the same time and both end with a single hit. For example if I shoot the Psy once normally it clears the reflect so I can hit them with a real attack right after. They are kite-able by ranged classes like myself and melee classes can survive through their attacks if they know when to shield themselves instead of attacking. Don't go after them during soulburn, wait it out. It does nothing to you by itself and has a 30second cooldown. Melee classes, if you get 2-3 solid hits on them without all the reflect etc in the way, they drop. Most importantly thought, know what their skills do.
Psychics are scary because their kill strategy is so fast, odd and left you dead wondering what just did that. Why did my stun come back at me, why did they follow it with 3 wizardesque magic attacks in rapid fire leaving me on the ground, how did they do that? GO LOOK IT UP! Did you ever read a book and come to a word you don't know and you just left it there? No? Good, don't do it here either.
Now for the Sin
Here I actually do have a problem and it's not for a lack of research. Let me start with the fact that sins are beatable and have weaknesses. But there are aspects of them I do not find fair. Now comes the part where I b:cry about them killing me in pk right? No sorry not me. I don't care if they can take me down 1v1, which they can't always do by the way.
My first issue is not with the sin itself but with the stealth mechanic, more specifically the ability to reenter stealth from combat. Right off the bat this does not make sense anyway, what do you mean he vanished, I just saw him in front of me a second ago... But what this really does though is it allows the sin to harass endlessly, though counterable. It goes a little something like this: Run your stun lock chain, teleports in from 35M away late game which out ranges sage archers btw, as the stun is running out, restealth to try it again if you failed to kill them. The opponent never did anything in that fight and is now stuck waiting for it to happen all over again. You can counter this with some genie skills, interrupt the casting for the restealth for example, you get .7 seconds to do this so be quick.
But the fact that its even remotely possible is a problem, not to mention the skill itself GIVES a full spark instead of taking chi. Why do sins need this reenter ability in the first place? They hit very well to begin with, can get 5.0aps, have nice close combat skills, can teleport to their opponents even without stealth, have the only effective evasion in the game which is capable of dodging magic as well and have some nice survival abilities that if played right can make them able to escape a bad situation without shadow escape.
My second problem with them actually has even less to do with the class itself, but with the weapons. Not only are daggers locked to just sins but are for their level in many places truly on a different power scale. What kind of weapon at lvl 69 gives +28-30 of the stat that it draws its damage from? And that is just one of the more extreme examples but overall the adds on sin weapons seem a bit extreme to me. Why not up the base damage on daggers just a little and make the adds reasonable. Also a jealous side note: why are daggers locked to sins? They get to use bows which make up a large amount of endgame archer weapons, why am I having to stat str to take advantage of the broken -int mechanic... degrades into archer rant.
My final issue with the sin is that despite dealing damage out like a DD class, in some cases better than the original DD classes. They are capable of soloing instances easily. Fine, you want another solo class, they should do less damage as a DD. Want another DD, they should need to get a tank for things. I think this irked me the most when a couple days ago a person in faction chat said that he was considering making a sin and leveling it up just to use it to farm the money for the equipment for his main and the response wasn't that it was a great ironic joke. It was taken seriously because it might have actually been more efficient to do so and that I believe is problem.
I would like to state in conclusion that I do not slight the sins in the game at all for using what they are given, soloing instances like TT for example or using those weapons or even using the restealth skill. The devs gave you the ability to do it if you played smart and your using it and that is honest play but I would like to ask that before any of you respond. You take a moment and objectively add up your classes ability list in both PvP and PvE and tell me if you don't find yourself really happy with how you stack up to other classes. There is not massive class death from people switching to assassins for no reason. The highest level player in the game is an assassin for a reason. The recruitment level in my faction for sins isn't 100 because people are running away from the class and not towards it. I will end with that most of the so called problems with the sins are actually game mechanics issues and we other classes should get less mad as assassins and more mad at the mechanics themselves.0 -

Then for your two: I don't know you and I'm glad I don't, but what does that have to do with anything? Three: You're definitely not the only sin since I said people like YOU give DECENT SINS (which I am pretty sure you are not) a bad name. Do you have basic reading comprehension skills? No. And really? You hate it when people try to bash? Well, in your own words, deal with it.
Oh believe me I'm dealing with it, and since I'm not the only sin you've said that to I see it was an empty insult that people like you come up with just because they've got bashed by a sin or two. Sins....once you break or prevent their stun lock, they usually die fast, some like to stealth back away when they know they can't win with the current fight, cheap trick imo, but w/e.

See this is what I don't get. Tideborn are quick to say they are balanced, but whenever you bring this point up, it's agreed that it's a cheap tactic that gives them an unfair advantage. Yet even though people admit there is an unfair aspect to the class, they still will not agree that it's overpowered because they....don't have to use the skill or something?
Just because there is a cheap tactic you do not use does not mean the class isn't unfair, you just don't use it.The 3 fundamental F's of Perfect World are "Fun, Fast, and Free."

Stealth? cheap trick? hmmm Well no matter the argument it's a skill. So it's gonna be used....Aggravating as it may be[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] It's Ya' Boy Sauce! >:]0
