Genies and Experience

Does anyone know if Genies sap the amount of exp through grinding/questing reward exp you get if they are a lower lvl then your charcter or if they don't sap it at all?

    For the sake of easy math

    Lets say you get 100 exp with or w/o genie equipped (doesn't matter if it is or not)

    Equip the genie you'd get 100 exp and genie would get 10 exp IF it is the same level as you, if not same level there is a % it will get that is the difference of your level and the genie level

    Genies DO NOT take any exp away from you UNLESS you specifically infuse them with exp or Spirit

    Ah, Thank you very much for the speedy reply, this has settled a long term worry and now I can start lvling up my genie again without fear of gimping my Exp intake
