Best Luck and coin sink

If you look at it this way there is a 2% AH fee that makes a coins sink and MOST packs peoplebuy with coin. So for every 50 packs open its about a 346K coin sink (I know for sure you can be unlucky and not get that best luck in 50 packs but lucky and get that 70mil+ item that brings no coin into the game)

Any DoT,Vit stone any g11 shard takes a 1mil coin sink and the +2def shard is about 3mil perstone (i see a few with them in gears but i dont go around and look at every guys gears to know for sure) Taking them out is the same cost

Fixing gears is one big coin sink for any 4~5 aps players i know after a few NV runs i need to fix my daggers and cost about 100k~150k.

Best Luck got its highs but some times on off peak hours it can be a hour be for some one wins one (normally mad when a pack sale comes out then drops down a lot over time)

Im sure there is a lot more coin sinks around like the TT90 and TT99 gold mats at the chip master, Myself have down about 30~40mil on some gold mats.

Im sure only the big pack openers makes the gold price higher and im sure there is a few other coin sinks as well, but on the other hand its not the best luck tokens that control the gold price but the PACKS IT SELF(sales and so on)

So any one that is mad about high gold price dont rage about the best luck. Im sure if thy take out Tokens ppl will go rage quit and QQ on this forum non stop.

Gold will never go lower if packs are on sale. Im sure most want the gold to drop so thy can stock up and resell when it jumps so stop ur QQing it **** me off. If i can make in game coin and njoy the game with out loading zen.

If our a avg 3 hour player what good is cheap gold for you? cheap charms? cheap orbs ? yea right normally thats all end game.

If you want to flame and not have any other good input to the thread go die b:laugh

    well, as you said...

    ~350k sink for every 50
    so in 10k packs it's 70mil
    10k packs will have 172BLT = 860mil

so there will be 790mil injected

nobody denied that there are other coin sinks
while it's true that the gem coin sink is used only now (i dont want to even think that someone made a gem with shards before packs o-o it would take a year anyway) most of the rest sinks were designed to balance the other coin sources of the game (mobs,np'ed items). well, at least that is what i think xd

    now, about the gem sink:
with those 10k packs you will get:
    7 dot
    7 dod
    3 garnet
    3 citrine
    5 sapphire
    3 savant
    3 primeval

    7mil + 7mil + 0.6mil + 0.6mil + 1mil + 3mil + 3mil = 22.2mil
so that drops the coin injection to 767mil
assuming ofc that ppl dont imbue and remove such high level shards like crazy...

so while it's true that the packs generate some new coin sinks those sinks remove just ~10% of the injected coins.

ofc some of the BLT wont be npc'ed but used to get red mats (speaking of red mats a twilight scepter dropped in DW!).
we could also assume that with the tweaked tt, the less grinding -> less dq due to frost and the removal of TW rewards the older coin sinks (chips) become more effective and less coins are injected.

but that's beyond my ability to calculate so i'll stop here :)

btw a way to counter the BLT coin injection would be inserting coin sinks in the boutique agent where you trade the other items for you items.

(Supply & Demand) + Inflation make the Gold price High

BLT only contribute to the majority of coin injections which directly effect the alarming inflation

introducing more coin sinks will only be unfair to average players who doesnt cash shop or open packs

see, the only problem we r having here is mere 2 BLT can be traded for 10Mil coin notes, which inject insane amount of coins, 1 day supply of BLT coins can possibly overwhelmed the whole month of coins gained from server wide grinding

can PWE remove that option and put more items/mats to trade BLT or make the other items require less BLT to trade ? just my thought

But on the end its not the best luck that makes the gold price high

A lot of things are responsible for gold prices being so high. Perfect Tokens of Best Luck are directly responsible for introducing trillions of gold into the economy, more than every other source combined... since packs were first introduced.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

You have to take into account the people that cash shop their packs and dont buy the gold from the AH.

Call me noob or whatever, but how does BLT inject coins into the game? Do you NPC it?

If you are selling to other players, then nothing is injected. Coins are only going from one player to another.

So, please explain to me how coins are being injected with every BLT. Thank you.

2 BLTs can be traded for a 10mil note, which has a 10mil NPC price. (or can be traded for 10 mil at banker, was one or the other).

Pretty much 2 BLT can = 10mil coins spontaneously created by an NPC
