So recently I became a little bored and accumulated some coins from the Thursday tournament. Decided to do a Pk tournament and have a little fun, this time a free one with some prizes so get your friends n sign up!


What type of PK Tournament is this?

- REAL PKING. What this means is that you must be in PK mode to participate
- 4 on 4 squad battles
- Straight elimination so once you lose you and your team are gone
- Will take place over several days where the winners move on to the next round
-Teams will be seeded based on class,level,equipment

Why 4 on 4?
Discussed it with other people and 4v4 came up as the most reasonable number of people in squad
- If it were 1 on 1 cash shoppers would have a higher chance of winning and people would say it is unfair.
- 4 on 4 is a good number so the battle won't be as hectic as a 6 on 6.
- 4 on 4 = Teams
- Its fair. With a 3 on 3 it all depends on strategy, coordination as well as teamwork

Rules

1. Must be a team of 4.
2. 80+ brackets will be rounds of 3 so best 2/3 moves on
3. Under 80 will be 1 round elimination
3. You cannot be in more than 1 team.Alts are allowed though
4. Fighting will take place in designated areas. If you run around or kite for too long you may be disqualified E.g. Flying around doing nothing for 1 minute
5. Any outside help e.g. Guildmates helping you Pk will result in disqualification.
6. Rematches may be issued if a lot of people start to interfere
7. Members of the squad must be within the level ranges set up in order to fight.
8. If your squad members do not show up you will have to fight without them.

Level Ranges

60~69* 1 round elimination
70~79* 1 round elimination
80~89* Best out of 3
90~94 Best out of 3
95~99 Best out of 3
100+ Best out of 3

* may be taken out if not enough people sign up

Also if you wish to participate in a level range higher than your squad's please notify me, Fuzzy_Wuzzy or Tournament. Prizes will also differ between level ranges.

Sign up period is Nov 26th, 2010 2010 – Dec 11th, 2010 basicly 2 weeks

All prizes are my own money so don’t be complaining about how its pocket change for you >_> Took me along time as a F2P player to get all this…

60~69* 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.
70~79* 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.
80~89* 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.
90~94 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.
95~99 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.
100+ 3M for 1st place, 1M for 2nd place and 500K for 3rd place.

    But awesome idea.. maybe gonna get a group for fun since is hard to find a good pk now that i started QQ.

    Theoretically...
    What if the fight came down to a charmed+food barb vs charmed+food archer (or wizzy)...
    and the barb has too much hp to be killed by conventional means but is incapable of killing the kiting archer/wizzy who also has decent gear?

    1. The kiter IS capable of killing the barb with a lucky crit or 2 with 3 spark (or wizzy with crit on ulti).
    But...
    -building up all that chi takes a long time (the kiter is still attacking though, not just running away, but actual kiting)
    -the barb is able to use/saved genie skill to nullify it
    2. The barb IS also capable of killing the kiter with crits or zerk crit
    But...
    -the barb does not get in many hits (just 1 or 2 every while)
    -the kiter is able to use/saved genie skill to nullify it

    Just as the barb is "unkillable" due to the class's hp, the kiter is "unkillable" due to class's control. The fight could drag on for 30 minutes or more before the deadly crit(s) occur.
    However, if let be until this occurs, the barb loses a lot of charm and racks up a higher cost than your tourney awards. b:sad

    Ya, but that situation is fairly common since barbs are usually one of the last to be focused down.

    Not like 3m/1m/500k is a lot for a squad of 4, it doesn't really matter who wins at the end so much as how the tourney itself is set up to be fair enough and fun.

    I'd definately do it, if you could say, choose to not face a certain opponent, but not be disqualified.
