Alright, I know lots of people are sick of seeing, "Duke shouts: CashShopperOfTheF-ingMonth just got ________"

Why would we care? For those of us who are SICK of Duke spam, I request we make a Duke Channel, to block out system spam. Maybe have system and "duke" separate, so we can acctually blacklist duke. I know lots of people who litterally have rage quitted because of buying so many packs and getting nothing, while the people with +12 armor and Icebource shards Imbued into it are getting everything, or it's always the same people, all the time. I want a change. I'm sick of seeing "Duke shouts" Someone needs to shoot him.


If you want to silence duke SOMEHOW post here on this petition, lets show the GM's how annoying this guy is and silence duke for good!!
It's the end of PWI as we know it. Packs going to 50 cents jumped our economy up to 1mil per gold. It's over for non-cashoppers.

    You don't have to CS to open packs. I've opened well over 2000 packs and I don't CS. Duke is there to promote more pack sales. "Look, this person just got Scroll of Tome, it could be you!"

    they can't do that, because it might be seen as criticizing the company (openly admitting they're not going to do a damn thing about a problem in their game). and they're not going to remove the red spam, because they believe for some dumb reason it counts as free advertising for their pack sales.

    they clearly know perfectly well it pisses their players off to no end, but they're also clearly prioritizing short-term profits over the long-term health of their product, so **** us --- except they can't admit that, because they're too ashamed to dare lose face over anything like this.

    my bet: whatever few GM's actually know these forums exist are under a strict speak-no-evil order on pain of immediate termination if they break ranks. i'll never be able to collect, however, because if i'm right they can never admit that, either.

    GM can't and not allowed to do anything like that without orders from the boss.
    They always just administrator expect the boss them self become the GM, which is unlikely.

    I would sign if this petition included Bidding Hall spam. It is equally bad, comes in much larger chunks that destroys chat. But as it is, I already signed one two threads up that included them both... where are all these petitions coming from suddenly?

    Wouldn't it just be easier to allow the players to set up the different chats to allow/disallow system messages? Aside from whispers and system messages, all other kinds of chats can be filtered via the user control panel, being able to do the same for system messages would be a rather nice feature.

    (And no, I am not including Perfect Horns since they were removed from the cash shop due to being an overwhelming annoyance).

    Well there's a reason you can't filter system messages, GMs etc need to be able to get in contact with the whole server if need-be.

    But if you asked me Duke is TOTALLY spamming and needs a ban to think about his actions.

    I am aware that GM's need to be able to communicate with the entire server. But there should be a way that some sort of coding can be implemented that would allow the GM's to circumvent the chat restrictions set in place by the user. I.E, the server being able to recognize an actual player from a NPC. But maybe that's hoping for something that's a bit too far advanced for this game.
