Comparing Stream and IH

I just hit 82 and was starting to look at ways to massively increase my channeling speed because I've been told Stream of Rejuvination almost replaces IH in the higher levels once you have massive amounts of mana and the channelling gap narrows between the two so I started figuring out the difference in heals stacking SoR and stacking IH will give me.
I think my average magic attack right now is around 6500 (not sure, but its close) so I'll use that number.
Ironheart Blessing
714 + (.3 x 6500)= 2664
714 + (30% of base magic attack) = heal over 15 seconds
(1 second channel + 1 second cast time) / 15 seconds = Can be cast 7.5 times during 15 seconds
7.5 x 2664 = 19980 hp recovered in 15 seconds (1721.25 mana)
Stream of Rejuvination
1230 + (.5 x 6500) + 1230 = 5710
1230 + (50% of magic attack) + 1230 Heal over 15 seconds = 5710
(2.5 seconds channeling time + 1 second cast time) / 15 = 4.29 casts in 15 seconds
5710 x 4.29 = 24495 hp recovered over 15 seconds (3647 mana). This is static heals at 3.5, 7, 12.5, 16 seconds of 4480 and an actual heal over time of 5362.5 whereas the entire IH is HoT(heal over time).
My original point of making this post was I thought since the WS portion of SoR was the bulk of the heal and the HoT was so small that when stacking I thought IH might overtake SoR in terms of heals. It does not so my post is irrelevant but I decided to leave it as an analysis of the two skills.
-IH is almost twice as mana efficient.
-As SoR channeling speed increases the difference in heal strength favors SoR (SoR benefits more from faster channeling).
-As base magic attack increases SoR benefits more because of the 50% multiplier rather than the
-As base magic attack increases the immediate heal SoR increases but the HoT does not. HoT does increase as magic attack increases for IH.
I guess if I had a question it would be "how do you like, and when do you use SoR, and do you find it useful for healing tanks?"

While IH is the most used heal and HoT used by any cleric, SoR does have its uses in certain situations.
When a sq member is f.i. rezzed in an instance, casing SoR is better then any other heal, even Ih because it allows you heal them more and continue on faster.
when a tank isn't charmed and his hp goes below the 50%, cast a SoR, then resume IH.
That's about the only use i see for it. But in real emergencies, a WS is better for its shorter casting time.0 -

If you have very good magic attack and good tanks you will find that you need to use SoR vs IH about 1-5% of the time max. Sage IH rocks but Demon SoR has it's benefits as well (although us sages can do the same thing with using sage vanguard spirit in an ih,wellspring heal macro).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
