PK/TW Genie o.O?

Mmkay, I know there are a few of these threads but I'd prefer if either you could link me to one that will pertain to the question I ask or if you can give your own opinion.

Once my BM reaches lvl 90 (in less than 1 1/4th lvls), I will be doing two things;
Equiping all my new gear and finding a helm
Buying two new genies (both gold)

I want to know, if I buy a clean genie or what to look for on one, if I buy a genie;
What should I look for if the genie isn't a clean one?
What type of genie should I be on the look-out for? Zeal? Discipline? Infliction? (w/e the 4th one is)?

As for if I get a clean one, what would be suggested to put on it? Which skills would be most recommended for a TW? How about PK?

So tl;dr (i guess)

Which genie type is best for PK and which skills would be recommended for it?
Which genie type is best for TW and which skills would be recommended for it?

    I'll leave out the skills in this reply, as threads related to that are fairly easy to find with search.

    I like to use high STR genie for PK and high MAG/VIT genie for TW.

    Since you generally have time between kills, unless it's mass PK war, having a pure STR genie with slow recovery doesn't hurt much. The high STR gives you more reliable Occult Ice, stronger debuff with Mire and harder hitting TE as well as stronger magic shield from it. You will need a reliable Occult because the kitting in air would be pretty much impossible to catch with Roar or Bash.

    In TW, you are not worried about catching someone or doing a lot of damage with genie. Your main focus will be to survive and stun/slow/debuff. The fast recovery and high starting energy from high MAG/VIT genie enables you to holy path multiple times to run into group and kite back after stun. You'll also be able to heal more often with ToP.

    For STR genie, you'll want infliction and for MAG/VIT genie, you'll want either Zeal or Discipline. The reason for this is that after you add 40 extra points to the base stats of an attribute, it'll start costing 2 points to add one more. Having a genie starting with 15 STR means that you won't have to pay 2 points to add 1 until 55, where as you'll have to start paying 2 points at 45 if your genie started with 5 STR. The difference is that it will take you 40 free attribute points to get an Infliction to 55 STR while it'll take 60 free attribute points to get a genie starting with 5 STR up to 55 STR.

    Cosidering you want gold genies, i suggest you get a Zeal. Because Zeals look the coolest when gold.
    But as long as you have more then 5 skill slots, you will be fine. And 51+ genie is about 1/3 price of a gold one.

    For Pvp, i like to have a genie with high str. I don't pvp atm, but my genie works for Pvp as well. I have ToP, TE, Mire, and AD. I can reset my affinities and replace ToP with bramble if you would like to be one of those gardener BMs who like the hit and run pk instead of a real 1vs1. And if you have another skill slot, get OI of course. And if you do decide to leave safe zone, i recommend you stay flying in the air. You will find out the hard way if you don't soon.

    For TW, i like having ToP, Holy Path, AD or Balance. A lot of BM's act like cats in TW and just stun everyone every 15 seconds. So we need defense skills. ToP just heals you, Holy Path helps you from getting killed. And AD resists and Balance isn't really needed as much, it just makes damage less then 20. And that these skills don't require STR to work, having like 50 vit and rest into magic works great.

    But i can't even TW anymore since it gives me a lagg bomb.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    Thank you guys for the insight on how to stat the genie's i'll be buying :)

    And from what I can see, the main skills that would be suggested would be Tangling Mire, Absolute domain, Treu Emptiness, Tree of Protection, Balance, and Occult Ice.
    All of which are good skills from what I've seen, and experienced x.x. I think I'll go with Okeano's suggestion on the two types of genie's to get, since how it explained it made perfect sense on why the two work best :).

    So with that out of the way two gold genie's will be purchased when I hit 90 in the next few days :D. *glee's happily xD*

    Ty for the help you two :)

    TW Genie Skills?

    I was having trouble deciding between tangling mire and whirlwind... figured the latter because I decided to stat partial strength for increasing the duration of magic reflect... I wish I could have fit chi-siphon on there, but cloud eruption should do.

    I wanted a balance of regen and vit, but due to the fact that our main enemy just got two new Rank 8 mages with +12 weapons, I decided I needed a specific genie just for TW.

    My PvE and PvP genies are kind of in-process of being reworked, so they're probably gonna change some. I think my TW genie is set though.

    I still need to make a TW genie... right now I'm just using my crappy low level high MAG/VIT PvE genie.
