There is actually no need for a squad leader, most people know what to do without a lot of talking around about stategys. Also, decisions are often voted, not decided by 1 person.

'Leads the squad' can me interpreted in many ways. What exactly do you mean ? As most needed class, as damage dealer, as support etc. ?

I guess he refers to the classical W o W raids, where 1 person leads all the 25 people.

    2. Which class is like leader of squad most of the time/ all ways?
There isn't one class that is a squad leader most of the time. In this game the squad leader can basically add or boot people from the squad, or pass leadership to someone else in the squad, and that's about it. Often the leadership gets passed around in order to invite new people.

Also, for what we either call an "FB" (short for "Fu Ben", which is basically Chinese for "instance") or the "Call to Duty" quests that you get about every 10 levels, starting at level 19 (or 29 for Tideborn), the person taking that quest has to be the squad leader.

As far as the person who leads physically, it's usually a barbarian out in front, tanking the boss and leading the way, at least at the lower and middle levels. At higher levels it may often be a 5 APS (Attacks Per Second) melee class instead, such as a Blademaster or possibly an Assassin.

If there's anything that requires teamwork or organization, then such a leader usually is decided more by the player who is best/most experienced at that, rather a particular class (though clerics seem to me to get that role somewhat more frequently than other classes).

I hope that answers that question.

Here I was about to a full-fledged reply, but yeah ^ what he said. Thats about what I was gonna say.

Though, I can add this. If I understand your intent behind 'leader'... the 'leader' would be the one who is the first to attack the mobs most often. At endgame, this happens to be me a lot, since I move fast and dd fast. I holy path to a mob, slash slash slash dead and then use speed skill to get to next one, slash slash slash slash, holy path, to next mob, then another speed skill. That means I'm usually 'leading' the squad persay, as in, I'm out front starting the attack, if you will.

At lower levels, this role is almost certainly take on by the barbarian. However, if you play a barbarian class, don't expect this to hold true @ endgame. Assassins and blademasters most frequently in the front lines rushing to mobs and dpsing away.
