Good day - just started playing this game.

I am joining PW with a group of 3 RL friends, and we would all like to start together. We like to play a well rounded group (Tank, Healer, CC, & DPS), and then add in when we need.

We were thinking, Barbarian, Cleric, Assassin, and Psychic.

Is there any way to change starter areas really early, or are we "stuck" in our respective starter zones until a certain point? If we're stuck - at what point will we be able to join up together? Are there any good pointers on how to gether together once we can?

Thank you for your time.

Ya're kinda stuck since all the starter quests will be in your startin' area^^ Only the ones who chose Assassin and Psychic will be in one area since they're the same race. But...don't worry too much 'bout it, yall be able to play together pnce ya reach lvl 19/20, which won't take that long^^ (2-3 days maybe)
At lvl 19/20 ya will all get a quest to go to Archosaur, which is the main city of the game :) Once ya're there ya'll all get the same quests ^^ (there are some rare exceptions, though)

The Sin and the Psy could play together but the Cleric and the Barb would be apart from one another and the Sin/Psy. You will be 'stuck' in each started area till about lvl20-21 to which then you all head to Archosaur. This city is the biggest city in the game and home to the catshop district (west arch) and lots more quests. You should keep in contact through whispers (PMs) till then and meet up at west arch gate entrance. West arch is the most laggiest place but its where the next set of quests begins.

You're stuck in those starter areas until level 20 or so.

Keep in mind though that the following share a city:

    1. Blademaster and Wizard
    2. Barbarian and Venomancer
    3. Archer and Cleric
    4. Assassin and Psychic

Also, a Blademaster is literally the best CC class in the game and can also triple as a DPS class and a tank at higher levels. So yeah...

I'd honestly go with a set-up like this: Cleric, Blademaster, and any two DD classes you want (probably Archer and Venomancer).

That is not to say if you wanted, you can always fly (if you're the cleric) to any of your other friend's starting areas or walk/swim (takes a little while and dodging but can be done) on any other class and help each other with quests.

It might slow the overall leveling, but it's more fun that way imo.

Consider this: cleric, barb, bm and veno. But if you're good friends, everyone put coin towards getting your veno a herc.

With the barb and cleric you have the two players essential for every squad. All day long you still see world chat pm's for clerics and barb's all the time for squads.

With this set up, you can still invite random DD's to make up the numbers.

The BM is still the biggest dps in game according to rare world events where they seem to always win. They are the next most needed in squads because of their buffs.

Sins really suck until you level them up to 60-70. Very squishy and use a lot of HP pots. They are a pk class. In squads im healing, the sins are still always dieing when they steal aggro. You just cant heal fast enough.......

Psychics are really easy to play but the big four are still more needed.

If your all going to be playing together. Get ONE of your chars up to level on all crafting. Not all of you. This would be simpler and cheaper. Apothercary remedies are awesome.
