I log on everyday and I dont see abusive comments on world chat in Sanc server constantly, just the casual shouts b:chuckle
If u take a small insult too seriously then this game is not for u. If the insult is very bad and offensive then I would recommend screenshot it or w/e then send a ticket to GM for solution. Posting what u said in forum is a bit pointless and just gets flamed/trolled alot just like what the others said.

Seriously if people were "mature" you would just brush it off instead of being hurt or indignant. It's like getting provoked by a little kid, you get all fired up and start screaming insults back at the instigator. As people get older, they just shrug it off and ignore the instigator.
People are way too uptight these days, no need to go to the extreme and ban every offensive word or phrase. It's okay to have a little trash talk here and there. However for ones that go on for a while, like the antisemtic world chatter, should be banned as one can clearly see that they are prejudiced.
Since when has someone never been insulted in his life? If they've been showered with praise everyday, i would hate to see their personality -_-
P.S. You can get away with an online threat like "I"LL KEEL UUU!" if you add in a "LoL" or "Jk" to the end of it.+1 post0 -

Anyways, trash talking cannot be bannable, lmao. TV allows it, radio allows it, movies allow it, people use it all day all the time, how can you punish something that everyone uses? Even if it was for chit chat, swear words will always be there, call it english, spanish, japanese, chinese, whatever, there will always be trash talk because thats the way people express themselves.

Not only are you given the tools to blacklist things you find offensive or filter chat out (horns excluded), but you're asking PWI to cater to a specific moral creed about what is appropriate to joke about. No, no, no, no, no. PWI is not the moral police. There's no conversation about anything at all if we use PWI as a tool to ban chat that people find offensive or that doesn't "preserve a calm, peaceful, fun atmosphere". I find your demeanor a direct threat to that very notion, because I find humor in crude jokes. Strangely, I'm not asking to ban it. At least one of us has the idea.
Random example of a chat..
I world chatted about cheating on my wife with Mantavip and having buttsmex with him in a three way with him the two dragons of the depths. All but maybe one or two PM's were people laughing -- so obviously the joke caught on and people thought it was funny. The other two, at most, were from the silly moral police trying to tell me that joke was not appropriate. I even had one or two people try and add to the joke to insult me further. I laughed at that.
Censoring **** is not going to give you a better, more fun game, unless you find it fun to go around telling people how to joke or communicate. It's just another method of social control from a person who thinks they're morally superior than others. Learn to live and let live. Notice how I'm not advocating PWI censor you for something more offensive than text -- telling others what they should find offensive. PWI doesn't ban drama queens for causing factions to lose a bunch of players -- I'm sure somewhere in there is a lack of calm peaceful and fun atmosphere. However, in social settings, people will be people. There's some extreme things that for PWI's sake for not getting negative press they should limit, but what you advocate is ridiculous and nothing to take seriously.0 -

I filter out World Chat all the time but there is a problem with it. World Chat is also Normal Chat. If you want to talk in Normal Chat you'll also be seeing the World Chat. All the time I have people who try talking to me through Normal Chat but I can't see it cause I'm in Group Chat or Faction Chat and I don't want to switch to Normal Chat cause I'll be seeing World Chat. =/
Unless there is another way to view Normal Chat without seeing World Chat too; its a problem.0 -

Unless there is another way to view Normal Chat without seeing World Chat too; its a problem.
You can have any of the chats also show normal chat. I have my faction chat show normal, squad and faction chat.
I think you can remove world chat from your normal chat also let me check.

No you can't. Yet you can remove normal chat from the common chat. Thats messed up.
Yeah, I just figured out you can't remove World Chat from Common Chat, but, I also found out you can add Normal Chat and Faction Chat to Squad Chat and leave out World Chat. =] That is pretty good. I just switch to Squad Chat now and I can see everything except World Chat.0 -

In a matter of just a few days of BLing the people posting nothing but,

There are places where insults and racism talks are incredibly strong so you cant ignore them. Ignoring is not an option for someone.
Just cause your country sucks and its full of childs who talk without caring of the REAL MEANINGS of their words, it DOESNT ALLOW YOU to talk as you wish with other ppl from other sides of the world.
About blacklist, i'd mention 2 things:
1 - it has a limit
2 - ppl can easily create as many alts as they wish to continue laughing about you having cancer.If you happy wanna be, against the wind you won't have to pee.

It truly amazes me how in almost every mmo that has a 13+ rating that someone will come on to the forums and complain about language,procative armor,or some other BS like the world or this game should be filled with lolipops and gumdrops. If this game has a 13+ warning and your complaining about language or sexual themes plz plz leave and go play on a nintendo 64 or wii or somethin that is more gumdrops and lolipops with care bears caring for we honestly dont give a ****...b:bye0

Surprisingly... I've probably only blacklisted maybe four people since I first started playing lol, which was a little over a year and a half ago.

The part about this I love the most is, this person tries to make an Academia-styled essay out of their rant. Complete with introduction, opening clauses, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. I mean really, this read like a fine article fresh out of...Wordpress or something.
