New to game...how do you get gold?

I was looking on the shop and saw that I can get packs that contain items to increase bag space and such, but I'm unsure of how to get gold. I see I'm getting coins from kills but I'm unsure if you get there is some kind of conversion into gold once I have so much.

    1 gold is around 600k and can trade coins for gold at auctioneer

    Thanks for the response. Another question, I'm almost afraid to ask, but I've seen on the official website about purchasing Zen. Is that like buyng gold from other MMOs? Is it frowned upon to do so and do you have to be a certain level in order to transfer it to your desired server?

    1 Gold = 1$ irl or around 550k in game depending what server your on ...you Can buy gold in bunches of 10-50 online or in the Auction House what is in Every Big City ( Arch , Lost city , EitherBlade and many more .. if you are buying from the AH ( Auction House) you wiill have to pay a price of each gold like 10k of each gold you buy .. i real sence you have to spend real money to get zen if you are new here and not 100 :) enjoy playing pwi

    Atleast run the quests to expand your inventory / bank that he gives you - maybe the first one to help you out.

    It would really help if more items in the game stacked...
