There was a lowly venomancer that decided to put minimum stat points into magic and the rest into vitality. He achieved a balance of both power and survivability. He quickly rose in ranks inspiring contemporary venomancers to follow suit.

One day that venomancer got bored and made a wizard with his spare coin. Sound familar?

    Once upon a time there was this veno who didn't get added to anyones most skilled players lists, even though lots of veno's who had actually stopped playing a long time ago did.

    Poor veno got really upset and decided to make loads of forum posts about how they are great until everyone put them at the top of their lists for skill.

    This never happened and the poor veno eventually lost their mind, ending up in an asylum where they frothed at the mouth a lot, and wet their pants.

    The End


    This is a completely made up story. Any similarities to real life people are purely coincidental.

    Back then... when we are all in the 7x/8x range... the highest refine weap is a +5... and all vit veno's damage is pathetic at best. The only reason they stand out is they stay alive long enough for their nix to do the job. Robe/la fear the nix... no one gives a **** about the veno's damage. I'll give you that you manage to survive long enough for the nix to do its job... but when its comes down to everything... you are nothing but a nix.

    Aleast nowadays... venos gotta learn to stand by themselves... now that nix doesn't really do much.

    Leveling has never been restricted, its not our fault we were level 100 when you were level 70. I mean thats really your shortcoming, not ours. And my weapon was +7, not +5.

    Also, your post shows how little you actually understand the venomancer class. While our magic attack can be comparable to a wizard's, our magic spells have no where near the damage output per stat point. A wizard can do 700% damage whereas our best spells let us do 200% (i dont actually remember the percentages, but something like that). So gimping a venomancer's magic attack would be less determental than gimping a wizards. And guess what? Venomancers get 13 hp per stat point and wizards and clerics get 10 hp, making venomancers the only magic class that can consider this option.

    And even if it was a phoenix doing all the work, it's still my kill. Unlike you, I actually understand the metagame. Whether its unfair or overpowered, every strategy has merit. If I choose to make my game revolve around my pet then you should adapt. All you did was complain about your class while we were busy making venomancer's overpowered. If its not working, try something new. Instead of pking at 70 go level up to 100 and then fight a LEVEL 100 phoenix, idiot.

    Finally, this was a joke. Why is everyone on this server so ****?

    Venos magic dmg is weak compared to pretty much every ... **** that it is the weakest

    so many veno's rely on nixes, il be honest here i don't have a nix so i was pretty much a weak mage in tw, all i had was the weakest magic caster in the game and a +10 weapon, i got so fed up of how **** they hit that's why i made an archer.

    so i have to agree with Kiyo, the nix is what is scary about venos

    i so cant wait for Mystics to come out and i hope they are as OP as sins

    momento now that everyone is the same lvl or higher then your veno, and your GEAR FAILED so ****ing much. i can see why u left. because ur skills < lvl 40 pker now a days. ( around the same gear too!)

    yeah i remember too, under geared veno goes white name when cleric has 10 oht mobs poking him. then sends nix and stays in the air. after u ticked 60k off my charm i did die. then u flew flew fast to sz and staid there till u could go blue again b:chuckleb:chuckle

    Sometimes I see that as a good thing, but considering how OP'd nixes were for a while, I don't really see that build as anything more than basic common sense.
