Starting the game...

When I start the game, I can only start it once, restart my computer, and then play it again.
This is really a waste of my time restarting the computer.
Everytime I do it without the computer restarting it says "Game already running"
I wanna start the game fast but restarting my computer will slow me down.
Any solution's to this problem?

    Maybe when it says "Game already running"
    you can click Ctrl-Alt-Delete, click processes right click element and click end process.

    If you play in Windowed mode, how are you logging out? If you use the "X" on the upper right hand of the screen, it merely minimizes the game to the System Tray (will show up as an orange and yellow box in the same area as your computer clock). If you click on that box, the game will restore right back to where you clicked the "X".

    To log out, go to the bottom right hand of the screen. There will be a bar down there with a computer monitor picture on it. Find the button that displays your "ping" when you mouse over it, and click on it. Now mouse over the buttons in the new bar that pops up until you find the one labeled "Log Out" (there is also an option to return to character menu, so you can play a different character in the same session). Click that, and you should get a confirmation window asking whether you are sure you want to log out. Click "Yes" and the client should shut down.

    Yep, KrittyCat's post is correct. This is usually a result of trying to close the game via alt+F4 or the X in the corner of the window; the only way to properly exit the game is to do so from the in-game menu. If the game has not been minimized, go to the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and end any instances you see of patcher.exe, launcher.exe, elementclient.exe, and pwprotector.exe, then try again.
