No Characters?

I just recently logged in after being off for 2 months, and after the updates
I logged on to find none of my characters are available to play?
nothing there and only the create button? I tried again after double checking my server was correct etc. to no avail,
I did submit a ticket but if anyone has any info that may shed some light on this I would appreciate it...Thanks...

P.S. Also I did Verify updates as well...

    No help on this?, I am still awaiting a reply from PWI support.
    Was hoping someone else could offer some help or share similar experience.

    just pick the correct server when you start the game and i am sure you will find your characters.. occasionally when you patch the game, your default server resets from what you had it at, to one of the older ones.

    it does state quite clearly at the top of the sign in box which server you are logging on to - so if you expect to be playing on raging tide, but it says dreamweaver, you need to click the select server button and choose raging tide from the list instead.

    you might want to post what the solution was.. so those others who may suffer it can fix it too..

    or was the problem between chair and keyboard?
