We have seen many changes during our time playing PWI, Many we cringe to think of, but scattered throughout are little spotlights of hope. Changes that lift our hearts skywards, even if only to be plunged down in icy water again.
So what are you favorite changes that have occurred since you first started playing
the ones that stick out to me as my favorites are:

Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

Bad ones:

TT3-x (I'll most likely never get my 90 gear)

And a lot of other things.Once upon a time I was stuck in Hall of Deception.
The Devs felt sorry for me having to smash lowbies all day, so they decided to promote me.

Hands down the best addition to the game no matter what anyone says. And I am sure anyone who was around before auto-pathing will agree to this sentiment.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

My EPIC Fail Demon Barb has 40k/48k HP and my stat points are as follows:

Like:
-Tide Quests/Treasure Quests, 1m+ coin and a bunch of exp is awesome.
-Genies
-Item linking
-Fashion Preview
-HP display on mobs
-Kinda half/half on fcc and hyper. Like the fact I can cheaply do a single daily fcc and eventually hit 100 from casual play. Dislike the fact there's little satisfaction in it.
-Half/half on DQ points too, since the whole reason they exist is because we lose a ton of money NPC'ing DQ
Dislike:
-Hands down, BH. Single handedly destroyed the social atmosphere in-game.
-Triple BH. Dunno what they were smoking on that one.
-Jones Blessings, should have been 15atk-15def like anniversary blessing so they don't wreck PvP.
-DQ nerfs
-3* decomp nerfs
-TT nerfs
-TW nerfs
-Packs
-Removal of numbers on hotkey bar
-Duke spam
-Bidding hall and the walls of system messages

the only changes i truely liked are the genies,the time we only had 1 bh a day,and text linking, and the hp of mobs ,also the DQP systemCollector of pet eggs, armor, weapons, fashion, and mountsb:chuckle0

Marriage quest- something that was supposed to be in the beginning but didn't get added in until much later.
Auto- Pathing- single handedly the best thing they took from Ether Saga. (if only they auto avoided walls and stuff like ESO too..)
Warsong- One of the few "hard" instances in the game left if you're aiming to actually fight the final boss.[In a distorted place and time][The knife that stabbed me in the back grants me wings]

Since I started playing? Genies were there when I joined lol... Hm, lemme think.
I love the Goshiki quest chain, Public quests and the new Dragon Point system.
But I really hate Hypers at low lvls. They are fun after 80 in FCC (that's when I started hypering). But low lvl hyper freaks usually become fail players at higher lvls. I recently met a lvl82 Barb who hasn't finished his lvl29 culti saying it was too long and boring... -_- He said he just joined a week ago and hypered his way up... Ugh.0 -

My opinions are in red.
Now for some of my opinions outside of what Born said.
Changes (some good, some bad)
Packs
While packs for endgame gear and such are bad, they are good because of the majority of what comes out of them - tokens of luck. Those alone have driven down prices on things like flawless shards by thousands of coin. However, due to the high demand, gold prices stay in the five hundred thousands, if not five hundred fifty thousand plus.
Hypers
Hypers (and oracles, but not so much) are severely misused in this game. People cash shop right at the beginning and hyper their characters up as high as they can, never learning anything about how to play their character in the process. I believe that a minimum level for use of hypers would be a great idea, but doubt it will ever happen. I personally leveled this character up into the 80s before I even touched hypers, and those ones were given to me. Level 70 would be a valid minimum level, if not even 75 (to correspond with first FC quests).
Marriage Quest
I was so glad when they implemented these. They make the game enjoyable, and give the players some time to spend with their special someone. However, too many of them require the couple to go in seperate directions, or just don't involve actually working together. I think that PWI would be wise to make some MQs that are scaled to level, so that the lowest level of the married player determines which MQs they can get. This would make the process more fun and more challenging, and would make the couple actually work together. (Personally, killing level 39ish mobs just isn't challenging for an 85 barb...b:surrender)
Autopathing Changes
I came when Autopathing was already enabled (if it ever wasn't), but I really don't care much for the recent changes to it. The fact that you can no longer fly to an instance by using a reference point inside that instance is rather annoying, as it requires me to actually locate the instance on the map and alt+click on it (call me lazy if you will, I just hate doing this). I think reverting back to the previous autopathing, with pathing to bosses in instances and such, would be nice (but will probably never happen)
Assassins (and Tideborn in general)
The Assassin class is now the most squishy class in the game. It is extremely hard for them to kite effectively before they get shadow teleport, and even after that their hp is low enough that most bosses will kill them in 1-2 shots. However, they become extremely powerful in PvP endgame. This makes a lot of people hate them (and Force Stealth does seem a tad OP, I know), but they needed a lot of their skills merely to survive pre-5aps. Now, as soon as a sin gets 5aps, they no longer even need a cleric (Bloodpaint heals them just as well). Meanwhile, the psychics try to steal the cleric's job if they go sage, having purify on their Bubble of Life. The only things that the psychic can't do is resurrect, and there are scrolls for that (well, at least once every 15 minutes or so XD). I really don't mind sins in general, 5aps BMs are more who I have a problem with.

My favorite changes:
- Removing the numbers on the skill bars
- Re-instituting rubber banding -- can't explain enough how much we needed that back again
- Anni packs, and each subsequent red spam not only by the Duke but by PWE telling people that anni packs would no longer be on sale in the boutique before each sale end, only to re-implement anni packs a few weeks later and the vicious circle continued for half a year to a full year
- The Rising Tide expansion with it's two expanded classes being incomplete without sage/demon/79 skills and without balancing (aggro, Bubble of Life, for example) until several months later
- Making Nirvana and TT 3-x significantly harder for average players, instead of creating new dungeons aimed at better gear + more difficulty
- Instituting perfect horns with no function to filter them out
- Avatar and waterfall character image bugs
My ideas for making future game changes on par with this for a better PWI:
- Up the attacks per second cap from 5.0 to 7 or 8'ish and institute -interval rings/necklace/belts/helmet/boots
- Make the rubber band feature permanent like anni packs and for every instance
- Make Duke do a red msg announcement every time someone kills a Wicked Pirate
- Make Duke do a red msg announcement every time a player buys zen
- Xmas event next month make the snowmen in the towns do AOE explosion like Bodybag Infernals from SOT0 -

Item linking. Nifty. Saves me looking up stuff in pwdatabase, and can easily see stuff like gems, refine, random stats, without needing to ask about them all.
Bad:
Genies. Stupid flying little things. Back in my day, when you had a little annoying flying thing it meant you were a baddass high level who'd managed to complete their sage/demon culti.</old>0 -

Unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good these days. Give us back our old Lunar, FF and most important our old TT. Give us back our 1 BH a day. Put the numbers back on our hotkeys. Fix rubberbanding. Tell the Duke to shut up about packs and put the Bidding Hall on its own channel so we can filter it out. Stop taking away holiday events that are free and fun and just giving us cash shop sales instead. And quit punishing us because people are botting and hacking in another version of the game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
