Armor and weapon question.

While getting loot, I've noticed that the armor I'm getting has o, [] or stars as well as white and blue named stuff. I know the blue named stuff is better then white, but what do the symbols mean? All of my stuff has either one or two stars, and half of it is blue named.

Also, I've been using a ☆☆Perfect Officer's Magicsword (with an Average Sapphire shard added to it) since I got it from the supply stash. Is there something better I can upgrade to, or do I have to wait until the level 50 supply stash weapon?

    ok so

    Yellow = legendary

    green= twilight Temple

    Blue = quest reward

    purple = someone made a 3star weapon

    white = dont get it lol

    the armour is based on 1,2 or 3 stars ... most of the time 3 stars have better stats

    the blue weapon u have now u wont be able to upgrade till u lvl up more... its a noob weapon just for a weapon sake. once ur about lvl 20 u can make legendary armour/weapons and level 60 twilight temple weapons... u cant make twilight temple armour till lvl 70
    Blue colored armor tho keep it .. its better then the white.. try not to get white unless there isnt any other options

    and the brackets with the number in it represents how many sockets u have in that paticular piece of armour /weapon that when u can add shards to ur amour /weapon
    hope this helped :)

    Some of the normal drop armor that I find is blue named, not just stuff I've gotten as quest rewards. Namely, my Boots of Dawn, and three socketed Mirage Cape. But I've gotten starred white name stuff, and blue stuff with o in front of it. My problem is, what to keep/use or sell.

    Purple equips, I've seen quite often in world chat (and my belt is purple and 3 star). And the yellow stuff I see in the database that is around my level or less (which is still better then what I currently have) are made using molds. Chances are, even if I could find them I couldn't afford it.

    But basically I'm out of luck on getting a better weapon? Cause the ones I can make seem to be a lot weaker then what I have already.

    The basics of item colors are pretty adequately described in the post above, so I won't cover that. I'd correct that blue just means there's an added attribute to an otherwise plain, white item, and that the origin of blue items could be random drops for the one stars or quest/crafting for either two or one star. There are more colors in orange and I think red, but those are way above me or you and I wouldn't worry about them.

    Instead, I'm going to discuss your weapon choice. I'm not sure what level or class you are, but as a general rule I recommend getting a two star or three star weapon (either blue or purple, made by crafting or boss drops) sometime in your 30s and a mold weapon (yellow, rare drop) in your 40s. Since you're using the magicsword, I'll assume you're a non-Psychic magic class, so a Wheel of Fate at level 43 will probably do you wonders. After that, I don't really recommend opening your 50 supply stash. It requires a perfect iron hammer, and the price of one of those, even with the sale currently happening for them, outweighs the benefits. I held on using my Wheel until I got my TT60 weapon (the first green weapon you can get). You might want to get another weapon in between, though.

    Level 33 Venomancer, and the magic sword was I think from the level 20 stash. It's two starred, blue weapon. I take it from what you're saying that I'm going to have to wait another 10 levels to see any improvement in weapons?

    No, what I meant was to get a two or three starred weapon with a required level of 30-something, like a Raybender Sword.

    Oh, sorry, misunderstood. So I guess I'll just make one, it seems to be craftable.. I don't think I could try for it as a boss drop at this level. Thanks for the information.

    when i was talking blue as being quest rewards i was talking about ur weapon... the drops u get on the ground are labed 1,2, or 3 stars.

    1 star and 2 star ull see on the ground as blue... 3 star will be a purple drop

    what u didnt add was that iron hammers (not sure wat server ur on but in my server) cost about 1.5million in game coin... and i herd that the lvl 50stash is only worth it if ur a BM
