One Last question about classes/servers.

Go to a PVE server like Sanctuary, it's very active, I can always find help for my cultis. And you can always go to PK mode or just duel if you wanna PK. You shouldn't PK at low lvls anyways, it's kind of pointless. Learn to play your class and learn more about the game. To me, it sounds like you don't even know about daily quests, because you said it's a pain to get to 60 (it's SOOO VERY EASY to get to 60 lmao). You should NOT hyper at those low lvls!!!!! After lvl30, do crazy stone daily, after lvl40, do BHs and Goshiki quest chain (40-45, 51-60), public quest after 60, gamma after 70, FCC after 80, and so on... There are many ways to lvl, and lvl80 can be reached in 1-2 month(s) without hypers, just by doing daily quests.

o.o An active server eh, why not try Raging Tides. :P It carries a lot of people daily. Though I think a lot of people think we are idiots or something.

50-60 is the dry spot for most classes before their true power starts to show.

My server is Sanctuary, because I'm a fluffy bunny who hates pk, so I don't know how useful this is to you.

That said, I have a nasty case of alt-itis myself. I have a character in every class, and I do find my alts nice for bringing a little variety to the game when cleric plumeshot-cyclone grinding gets boring. There's nothing wrong with that imo.

However, if you leave a character and never, ever want to play them again, you may need to rethink what you're trying to do with that character. Do you need to restat? Or start using your skills a bit differently? Or does the character just need a new shirt to spice up his wardrobe? (/girl b:chuckle ) Is it the pk that's discouraging you? Or is it just because you're no longer gaining a level every time you log on, and thus feel the effects of more work for the same gains?

If that last one is the case, you may have a lot of difficulty getting to endgame, because it only takes longer and longer to level as you rise. However, high levels are really when most classes begin to show their stuff, and the gear up there can be *amazing*, so it's worth it to grind through the boring parts.

I hear the pk servers are really low on clerics, so if you can get one up there, it will probably be worth it for various instances (*cough*bhes*cough*), since we clers never have trouble finding squads.

BHes are easy to get squads for on Sanctuary, since all you have to do is sit in the center of Archosaur and spam chat for a couple minutes. Later dailies perhaps not so much, but by then you'd hopefully have a faction willing to help you out.

I think the choice you're going to have to make, server-wise, is whether you want a pvp or pve server. You claim to want a pvp server, but then are (understandably) frustrated when your midlevel characters become easy victims for serial pkers. Yeah, it's obnoxious, but it's unfortunately one of the facts of being on that server, and I doubt switching to a different pvp server is going to make any difference whatsoever.

Pve servers do have pk for people that want it, as well as duels and TW for practicing your pk chops. It won't be as rampant and all-encompassing, though... so when YOU get to high levels, there wouldn't be many mid-levels for YOU to pk, since most (smart) pve players wait until high levels before even touching the "turn on pk" button. But there's definitely a presence.
