comparing to the 1st few weeks when jungle ruins came out, its praticly a desert, just came out my self from a mob failure and boredom, there was barly any there, usualy as it starts, its flooded with green dots from the start up to around where u can make the choice of the long way or the short but harder way.

regardless, its a massive fail, we shudnt be able to target a fire and deal with *things* that can barly stick to what there ment to do.

I haven't tried hard enough to complete it and don't intend to.

also, if an idiot posts hiding behind an alt, cowardly poster is a coward?

    I've never completed it.

This is partly my fault in failing to prepare myself properly. Getting Holy Path on a genie would help things along.

So in the meantime I have very little chance of finishing but I still go in. Why? One reason is Event gold. Granted, on this char I can only get 2 pieces each week but even given that, it's still fun (when i'm not lagging).

I think a lot of people gave up on it as the first time they went in they kept dying and dying without asking themselves why that was. Were they triggering a trap? Were they quick enough in a particular part? Did they aggro a guard? etc.

I think if people bear this in mind, they would be making more progress.

To not to put effort into something and to expect to succeed is unrealistic I would suggest.

    Regards.

I don't really see how "fail" is considered a bad thing here...The instance is intended to be very difficult, so many people fail every time, including myself and my friends. Just the way it is.

I still think it's fun. My husband almost made it to the end last week. @_@

You fail because you were wrong about what you said and couldn't take two seconds to see for yourself.

Also, how do you figure that I'm a fail? I said exactly what I set out to say, and made the exact point I set out to say.

Furthermore, if you want to argue with someone, try to come up with something original and creative. The simple and childish "nu-uh, YOU are" responses are lame.

i basicly added the *fail* to the sentence as some random forum monkey decided to say i fail cos i havnt completed it lol, yea it is ment to be difficult because of the rewards you can get, though i prefer the old jungle ruins that were actualy more do-able then this, granted the rewards were alot less, i was mainly in it for the fun and the simplicity in the dungeon, this one is abit OTT with the devs *attempt* on making it *high tech* whilst making so many daft things that makes it anoyingly hard if u even lag a tiny bit, and mobs that cant follow there original pattern, any level could complete the old version and it diddnt involve getting ***** by mobs near the end.

you simply mentioned about core connect and his *main* char, big deal, how exactly does that make me a *fail* and in what purpose? cos i diddnt want to check core connect to see what level his main was? like that would of made any difference to the question i asked? no it wouldn't of, so grats for stating something totaly pointless.

I don't do Forest Ruins, but it doesn't require gear and it doesn't matter what level you are. If you are lucky or skilled and do win, you get decent rewards and a chance to get a really nice belt for free that would otherwise cost you 50m or more. The only thing that is fail is your spelling and grammar.

No, I'm not insulted or hurt. Your spelling and grammar aren't fine. It doesn't take any more time to spell correctly than it does to fail. Bad habits may accidentally make it into correspondence you don't wish to look like a dumbass. Since you were pointing out your opinion of fail, I thought I would share mine.

I'm fairly certain that mobs do level-specific damage. In any event, going in there charmed is a waste of charm. Many people who do go in there charmed take off all their gear so if it ticks, they lose much less. Most people are smart enough not to wear one... pots are generally enough. I haven't heard of anyone complaining that their level was too low in completing it, so nice assumption there.

You just don't like the event so it's fail. Your excuses are BS.

You're wrong there, because I can type "ye u r" in 1 second or w/e, now if i type "yes you are" that takes just near to 2 seconds, which is the whole point of *text speak* :)
You clearly are butt hurt about it, or you wouldn't be complaining about it, also just in-case you're to brain dead to notice, a huge amount of the internet population, that even just involving msn, yahoo messenger etc, use text speak, the same goes with mobile phone, so you saying that I fail for using text speak over the internet, which I already mentioned a huge amount of the population that use either, is just invalid, in which I could just simply call you a failure for not realising OR attempting to use it an an insult.

I'm fairly certain that mobs do level-specific damage. In any event, going in there charmed is a waste of charm. You can always go to Dragon Palace. lol

I heard of quite a few a while ago back when threads about jungle ruins were being made around the start of it being released.

Actually I don't like the event because its a mass amount of fail coding, I know what they were attempting to do with this games poor excuse for an engine, that they have never even thought to upgrade for the sake of these damn game upgrades in which more and more bugs keep being introduced, it just sucks, the simple fact that we are able to target a fire and see that it even has HP is just a simple example, granted the fire can kill you, I've seen other games where fire can kill you, but we sure as hell couldn't target it and attack it when you're not supposed to.

My point is, the event is harder then what its supposed to be simply because some things happen that aren't supposed to, e.g, that giant flaming ball that goes up and down that giant corridor, the idea of it is that it keeps rolling up and down and *crushes* anything in its path, instead I even saw someone today die to it, that was about 5 meters away near to the wall because it exploded for some reason, that's because this lifeless ball targeted the person and then exploded as if to show that it ran into someone and went...boom.

Also what's happened before whilst I was in a while back, near the start when we have every moron just running forward thinking *oh it wont hit me, it will just get the other people near me and kill them*, how wrong they were, instead of the guard just killing everyone that's near its patrol route, I see it chase someone out of the room it was guarding, kill them and then kill some other unfortunate people that happened to be near by simply because for some odd reason it decided to agro everyone near by...pro coding right there.

No you're wrong. Damage of mobs (those that don't one shot) is a percentage of your HP, level and defenses are irrelevant. I take off my gear so I get less damage and Crab Meat heals for more.

Anyway event is kinda easy if you know how to do it and don't rage on every death (I died like 100 times first week and didn't finish obviously but I had determination and at least learned most of it). I even finished it below 10 minutes once. No I wouldn't like to make it easier, neither did I QQ first week when I didn't finish it either. If you aren't hardcore and patient/determined enough for the hardest things in a MMO you shouldn't think you deserve to finish them, there are other things to do too after all.

PWI is already too easy I remember other MMOs where the top instances were farmed only by like 10% of the server's end game players, because of gear and tactics required. But it amazes me how in PWI total noobs I encountered sometimes are able to complete everything maybe except the revamped TT.

    /facepalm

"Text speak" originated from people texting on moble phones on a tiny keypad where you generally can only use one or two fingers with a keypad of 1-9 making typing out complete words much more difficult. You most likely have a full sized keyboard. Learn to touch type. b:bye

I'm butthurt? You're the one trying to justify yourself by wall of texting me. lol

My point is, the event is harder then what its supposed to be simply because some things happen that aren't supposed to,

I don't disagree with much of that. The engine is dated. PWI graphics, quite frankly, suck. However, you fail to realize that an MMO engine, any of them due to necessary redundancy in communication (server location/player location/player movement/server approval) and the effects of lag (server lag, client lag, internet lag, etc..) is hardly a proper system for platform-type gaming. Even on the fastest of low-latency connections you're still going to be at least a 1/2 second difference between where moving objects appear and actually register with the server... To be fair, they actually did quite a good job.

And while you may want to disagree that lag and latency issues can be resolved... they really can't. Even sound echos in small rooms. There's no way to really avoid those kinds of issues without removing safeguards that prevent people from speed hacking. *shrug*

That's about the only real issue I can see you complaining about, and it has little to do with the game client, but the way data is handled....
