Weak mobs give 1/2 exp and spirit.
Normal mobs give 1/1 exp and spirit.
Increased <attribute> give 2/1 exp and spirit.
Sacrificial Assault give 3/2 exp and spirit.

2x or not it multiplies on top of it.

    Kindly gtfo.

Why? People calling that person an idiot because they can't figure out something you should've been able to figure out by level 20 is asking this at 93?

I mean you have to be joking if you have not been able to correlate mob statuses with exp and sp gain...

Just because you think s/he should have known the answer doesn't mean you're entitled to call them stupid. You should really find a new hobby.

    dot dot dot

If you are really that incompetent you can't figure out why certain monsters give a different amount of exp and sp over other monsters, you really, really, should go back to school and be tested for a learning disability...

I'm a lower level character, so I hope I don't get as much 'you should have figured this out by now' hate. I know that some multipliers when combined just add the multiplier (2x exp + 13x hyper stone == 14x exp (not x26)).

With this in mind, how does it work with increased exp for certain mobs when combined with a 2x exp event. In other words, does a 2x exp mob become a x3 exp mob or a x4 exp mob during a x2 event?

Deora, it's not that you think she is an idiot or not -- that's your opinion, but why take the time to post it I just don't understand. You like to waste time calling people idiots (even if you think they are honestly!)? Just get out of the thread if you think it's stupid, best to everyone really.

Vortella, the exp from the mobs is the base exp that gets all the multipliers. An increased attribute mob has a different base exp, so it becomes "x4 mob" to put it in your words.

Actually, only some increased attribute mobs give 2x exp. Increased Life, Sac assault, and increased movement are around 2x, maybe a bit higher. The other increased stat mobs give something around 50% more that base exp. (which doesn't exactly make sense, 'increased' magic resist mobs are a lot more buffed than them increased speed mobs, and Sac assault mobs generally are cut down a lot easier than increased life, etc)

Also one wouldn't realism these things unless they actually looked at the exp/sp they where getting, and what stats the mobs had.

Because he doesn't know the answer? b:surrender

That's the problem of hyper stones and exp. book. I was lv. 93 after almost 7 month of playing. An I knew 85% about the game. This is reason why oracles and hyper stones ruined idea of game also.

movement speed increase and sacra assault mobs give 50% more exp and spirit, magic resist, increase p-def, hp increase give double exp and spirit, weak give 1/2 of what you normally get.
also forgot to add that increased magic and p-attack mobs give +50% bonus exp.

i already mentioned the exp bonus on the first page from mobs lol
thats just the thing, how can you not look at the exp you get from mobs and not think *wait a minute, why did i just get double the exp from that mob from all the others*, then as your questing from 1-40 since you dont have BH, you should easily notice bonuses from mobs, you would have to be playing with your eyes closed to not notice.

Notice how that was the first post I made in this thread, directly objecting what you said on you defending someone that is obviously an idiot because they can not understand something as basic as how monster statuses effect exp and sp gain

You can't deny that they are not a giant idiot for not being able to correlate that, something tells me you in particular are directly pushing that argument against me when I was clearly not the first one to say it, so who is the one in the wrong now? b:bye

What does that have to do with the ability to moderate a forum?

After reading through the posts that have been made, I can honestly say that I'll never ask another question on these Forums again.

Some of the replies were very helpful and actually answered my question....tyvm. b:pleased

As for the rest of you that feel they have nothing better to do other than bash the **** out of someone for asking a question....grow up. Is this how you deal with real life questions asked of you? If it is, how do people respond to your immature criticism when face to face? Maybe I'm just too old to be playing this game because I was raised to believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question. PWI Forums have taught me otherwise.

On a final note, for those that don't actually read posts thoroughly, I've already said that I don't Oracle or Hyper and rarely do FC. If doing my BH's and Dailies is considered "power leveling", than I would guess that just about every player on PWI is guilty of it.....no? I've never really concerned myself with the amount of Exp. gained so therefore have not paid much attention to the finer points of Exp. gain on particular Mobs. I've not done anything particularly special in terms of leveling other than logging on every day and playing for maybe an hour or two tops except on weekends when I'm able to play more. Gonna flame me for that too?? I play this game for FUN (anyone here know what that means?) I try to play my character to the best of my ability and help out when needed. I learn my Skills when able to and use them when required/needed. I've NEVER had an issue, in-game, regarding my play style from ANYONE....and that includes when asking questions to make sure I know my role in dungeons and don't cause a fail run or get someone killed.

To sum it up....it seems that if you can hide behind a toon, and suffer no consequences for being ignorant and cruel, people will say and do things that would be considered classless and immature in a real life scenario.

Read Borsuc's breakdown of exp from different types of mobs, and Allynna's critique. If you don't know which one of them is right without going into the game and testing it yourself, then by the standard presented by some in this thread, you are an idiot for not having figured this out by now.

The majority of people I've met in the game didn't know about the difference in exp due to those special mob attributes. That was the case before hypers and BH too. For some reason people seem to fixate on the red numbers above their head when they're being hit, and ignore the yellow numbers that appear there when they're safe.

There are lots of little undocumented things about the game, and it's irrational to assume everyone who is not stupid has learned all of them. The quicker people will figure out or learn most of it by high level, but even the brightest people will still have some things that they haven't yet learned about the game. So someone demonstrating that they haven't figured out one thing by 93 is by no means conclusive proof that they are an idiot. In fact, jumping to that conclusion is so rash and illogical that it calls into question the accuser's own intelligence.

I mean I could ask, without looking, which way does Lincoln face on a penny: left or right? Most of you won't know the answer. That doesn't mean you're stupid. It just means the answer is something that most of you never considered to be important enough to notice.

all i can say is, this is human nature, some ppl will respond with *dont be so cruel*, others will respond with *if u diddnt want ppl to respond like that, they dont ask a stupid question*, it works both ways,

the way i am on the forums is the way i am irl, being behind a computer screen has nothing to do with ppl responding this way to something a high level shud no by now, it shud be second nature to no the bonus exp of what particular mobs give u on an MMO in which...u spend most the time killing mobs gaining exp, in which, has alot of bonus mobs with added bonus stats.

What are you talking about? I wasn't singling you out -- I was speaking in general anyway. Why do you assume things about me or what I have said? I'm just talking against trolls -- I mean seriously what purpose do posts like that have?

If you can't say anything useful, don't post. It's as simple as that.
