Hi guys,

I've seen alot of weps around lately, and never did get around to figure out the difference between these two adds. Whats the difference between these two adds, and if you could pick one add that you would rather have, which one would it be? I know that + mag attack adds on to magic attack... does that add to base mag attack or wep mag attack? and i know +mag adds onto base mag and increases the mana pool. so.. that's about it right now that i can think of.. thanks for your replies.

I can't really go as detailed as I like, but +Magic attack would be my choice.

Magic is the stat point that raises your total mana, mana regen, magic defense and magic attack. However, it raises all these attributes only slightly. On the other hand, it can also be used to fulfill equipment stat requirements as well.

Magic attack simply raises your magic attack, which affects your damage output and/or healing output. Usually, these modifiers are higher than Magic stat modifiers, but it affects less attributes. I'm actually not quite sure whether it adds to the base magic attack or weapon magic attack. I would assume base though.

That being said, magic attack modifiers are generally more desirable than magic stat modifiers.
