I got mine last Thursday, and even though I'm having a reaction to it a week later, I thought I'd post a poll.

No flaming in here, please! I posted this cause I'm curious, that's all.

ED: Before any flames come up on something, reason I chose for folks to see what you selected is for 2 reasons: we should all be concerned about each others' health and because if someone needs help with getting affordable shots, we could all help with that, too.

    I got the mixed one, and it made my arm sore for 3-4 days, what did u mean be "reaction"?

    - Have the computer skills necessary to handle forum-related tasks (Web skills, basic programming)
    - Be patient to handle all sorts of requests
    - Be level-headed to keep discussions and some petty squabbles in check.b:cool

    Some folks, including me apparently, will get flu-like symptoms or the flu itself within a week. When I had the H1N1 I didn't have any real reaction, but I sure did from my seasonal shot last week!

    Oh... that happened to you. I'm sorry, that sucks, you go get a flu shot to not get the flu, and then you get it... kinda defeats the purpose.

    When you get the flu shot you are shot with the flu... its a small amount and its to get your antibodies to react so if you get the "real" flu you wont get sick... got it? However each year they have to "guess" what flu is gonna happen.. bird flu, swine flu, h1, h2, etc.. you get my drift.. So suppose you go get the flu shot.. and you still get the flu.. no big surprise there. The shot was for flu a,b or c and you tada.. have flu d. Hope that clears it up..lol..

    Sorry, no point of getting the flu shot. It just ****s you over for 3 weeks because it gives you the flu.

    Anyhow, no thanks no bothering to get one.

    Every year I got a flu shot, I got the flu.

    I haven't had a flu shot in years and haven't caught the flu since. xD no point in getting it if it doesn't work.
