Can you wait to decide between Sage/Demon?

Hey all,

In about a day or 2 I should hit 89... but i cant choose yet what path to follow.
I've been thinking about it since many lvl's and first I thought I wanted to go Demon.
Last few lvl's I thought Sage would be alot better for me but well now its like really 50/50.

So, once i hit 89 will there be a popup message to click on to choose what path/chain in quest I'll follow? or can i choose later? (Hoping I'll be able to decide soon lol.)

Read the threads here in the forums about the Sage/Demon skills but all have good points.

    You can choose later. Just don't talk to the two NPCs south of TSC.

    You'll need to do a culti (a bunch of flying around, digging a chest, then fb89 etc.) to get your demon/sage.

    Depending on which route you choose, there will be 4 or 5 mini bosses you have to kill (about 100k HP). They're all soloable so don't worry about it. Venos got it easy since we can use our pet to tank them.

    The digging the chest part is tricky if you're doing it solo so you might want to bring your friends to distract the mobs around the chest. It's one of those chests that have aggro mobs around it. b:surrender

    Every cultivation can wait actually...It's what they said above me. Don't talk to the NPCs South of the Thousand Streams City.

    Once you choose your cultivation however make sure you talk to the right one. I checked like...10 times before talking to the Demon NPC xD

    I would just advise making a checklist of skills you prefer for which cultivation over the other, then add up the checks and pick whichever has the most, in the end -- the decision is not really that vital. Keep in mind that if you think your decision might be subject to change or buyer's remorse, only get the basic skills that are very cheap and plentiful for low level sage/demon venos (fox form, venomous, ironwood, melee), then you can merely switch cultivation to the other once you acquire your celestial fairy.
