PWI does not have a version for Mac, and it's not planning one.

In order to get PWI on your Mac, there are several methods, but the only one I remember is to "ghost" Windows, so that you can boot from either OS. I think. I'm kind of a computer noob, but that's pretty much the jist of it.

Use bootcamp assistant in the utilities folder on your mac. Through here you can create a fat32 partition on your hard drive. If you have a legit version of either XP (service pack 2+), Vista, or 7 you can then install the operating system on the new partition. Once all said and done, voila, a working Windows OS on your MacBook. Download PWI and you are off to the races.

Fuzzy plays on his MacBook all the time. It works without a hitch.

edit: you can also create a NTFS partition, but Fuzzy wouldn't recommend it unless you also create another shared fat32 one. OSX can read NTFS but can't write to it. If you want to move files (such as videos created with FRAPS) back and forth between Wins and OSX u need a fat32 intermediary at the least)

No, you have to use both. Bootcamp allows you to create a partition on your hard drive, and then you install your legit Windows version on it.

    3 ways
    1) Bootcamp - Boot into a real version of windows (fastest method, needs reboot, needs windows)
    2) Crossover Games - Uses a windows emulator (playable but a bit slower with some graphics glitches, no windows required, no reboot required)
    3) Parallels Desktop - Runs windows in virtual machine (same speed as crossover, no graphics glitches, requires windows, no reboot required)

No... PWI is a Windows application, there are no other ways to get it to run on Linux/Macintosh

I recently bought a MacPro too (1 with an i7 and 8GB RAM as I prefer Windows 7 x64 above Vista x86/x64 or XP for that matter).

To make sure you don't get any issue's with bootcamp running Windows 7 make sure to update your MacOS X software (Apple Software update + firmware update) else you might run into a BSoD during installation.

Use Bootcamp drivers 3.1 from your Snow Leopard DVD if you have it. If it comes with 3.0 get the .exe from the web to upgrade it to version 3.1.

Btw apart from Parallels as hyper visor you might wanna try VMware Fusion too.
I speak for myself. My opinions are my own.
Assuming I speak for others is therefor void.

    WINE

Completely Free. Completely Legal. No copy of Windows required.

PWI runs just fine on my Linux box, and WINE is also available for Mac OS X. It's a bit on the tech-savvy side, though.

I've never heard of "Crossover Games", probably because it's a commercial product and I'd rather play a F2P game for free.

Telling somebody there are no other ways to run PWI other than to use a commercial product, when there's a perfectly good free option as well seemed like a huge omission, hence my response.

    - EDIT -

Hmm... Just did a Google search for "Crossover Games", and I notice that they showcase their product by showing it running Team Fortress 2 and other Valve games. Um... those games have been out for Mac OS X for 4 months now and anybody who bought the Windows versions was given immediate free copies of the Mac OS X versions as well. So my guess is that "based on the latest version of WINE" is purely marketing hype.
