Some translation, prediction, and discussion saying that mystic :
1. Might going to have instant heal skill and no overtime heal (some say just aoe)
2. Some say maybe a summoner but unknown is the summons can tank for them or not
3. Some say they will become like FW bards
And i feel these new race (or they just future human with third eye, from the description) classes has ability to tank + heal ? b:surrender
Seeker = paladin ??
Mystic = priest / wizard + veno ? ?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Well, some are, and some aren't.
As for Mystic healing... it'll probably be like some a wizard's heal spell. It heals well, but a longer cool down, but still "spam- able."
I tell you, some of those wizards heal better than a cleric (no lie).

sorry to tell all you who wanna be a mystic, but clerics are the main healers, the rest are the emergency healers, when psy's came out, we also heard that they were gonna heal but they have a 30 sec cooldown heal, nobody gonna replace us, i do love emergency heals tho, and i think mystics will prolly only have one or 2 heals =]lalalala Pokemon

mystic = summoners. can't wait to see how they compete against venos. not sure what kind of buffs they'll have tho.
Seeker = battlemage. based on what i see, these classes ain't replacin anyone. the seeker can infuse magics into his weapon. i'll assume that he can infuse the basic elements like earth and fire and maybe wood, with his weapon infused with elemental damage, he can exploit elemental weaknesses on mobs, he is basically a melee wizard in that regard. i also suspect that the seeker may be the squishiest of the heavy armor classes. based on my experience, a class using 2 handed claymores tend to be focused purely on offence so he won't have much in the the way of defense buffs but offense may be another story, imagine expoitin the weakness of a tough boss:P
this is just my veiw it could be wrong.
on a side note:P think the earthborn are willing to part with the glowy stones on their foreheads?xD0 -

and i shall repeat myself again in a thread like this , Venos and Mystics are different till now . Summons in many RPGs are creatures that last for some seconds in order to distract the enemy , that's completely different from having a pet do various thing for u.

Actually in one of the original MMOs a summoner was the first pet class.... IE mage (elemental pets)-necromancer(un-dead pets)-shaman(nature pets) all three in one game, so it isnt unrealistic to share a pet class...
PWI seems to be sticking to the two of two trend...
Two light armored blade classes BM/sin
Two full caster classes Wiz/psys
Two Pet classes Veno/????Mystic????
Two Tank classes Barb/???Seeker???

agree with you completely, i believe the summons will only last for a while to, but i made that post on the assumption that maybe, when skills are leveled, the summons can stick around for a while, most certainly long enough to kill a few mobs. if that is the case, then they can compete with venos, unless the skill had a **** cooldown time. now it could be something entirely different. for all we know the summoned monster may only attack once or twice and then dismiss itself.
they may even make use of soul force to determine how long (or how many attacks) a summon stays around regardless of how they do it, these new classes are gonna be awsome:P0 -

No. I am not and besides that BMs are HA and can do the Tanking making Archer the only second LA class.Cleric use magic wich is what all castor class use no matter what they are designed for or have ever played an RPG.Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.0 -

BM are heavy armor lol the only light armor class are archers and sins. bms can made a good substitute tank. and as i stated before, and based on the info that was posted on the seekers i may be right, the seekers may be the squishiest heavy armor in the game that focuses on DD and status effects. no class is replaceing anyone. no class will ever be a good a tank as a barb, no class will ever be a good a healer as a cerlic0 -

that is something we dont really know , nor PW has implied sth like that
however common logic would be that now with 10 classes , the squad limit could be turned to 7 instead of 6 . 8 would be a bit extreme as more members = easier dungeons[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I know, I should have chosen my words wisely and used the term "off tanks" or "close range dps" instead of light armor, when discussing squad roles...
Things people seem to forget, "class roles" are simply unbalanced due to the game dynamics un adjusted to the OP state of a players advancements.0 -
well, with sutra, wizzy heal is pretty fast and good for those "oh ****" moments.0
