Would you buff/heal the person you hate?

so yea ill tell you guys why i made this thread,
so see there is this girl i cant stand i rlyyyy hate her caus in the past she gave me a lot of bad comments and kept annoying me so she made me rly pissed off,now i was going to a bh squad for metal and there was only one squad caus it was early for some peeps so my friend invited me and there in the squad she was. the girl that i hated the instant i saw her name i felt like leaving but i didnt caus of my friend, this girl was so bad to me i didnt feel like healing her or buffing her or anything but i did do it caus its my job as a cleric .-. when she got agro and almost died, i healed her never heard a thx for anything from her after that i said thx to all and left right away.
so im wondering what would you guys do?
would you just stay in squad and ignore him/her
would you show that you dont like them by healing them lesser or even letting die
or would you just leave squad?
if you have anything to add like this pls post them thx b:thanks

I may not be a cleric but I can still imagine what you mean
For me it would depend on my mood and how bad it is what they did to me in the past
In a good mood I would just try to ignore her
In a neutral mood(not bad or good somewhat inbetween) I would most likely buff and heal her somewhat less then the rest of the squad without making it to obvious
In a bad mood theres several things I could do
1 just leave the squad without causing any drama
2 Forcing the squad to choose to have either that girl leave or me(you are a cleric you might actually pull it off)
3 just letting the girl die every time she gets agro and saying sorry lag and then ressing them0 -

Just do my role and ignore them if they die. Face it clerics just need the tank alive to get through the dungeon. Honestly let things go, alot of the time people don't even remember small **** like that. And to leave squad over it only escalates the problem. While doing the run, and showing them that you know what you're doing by not neglecting them. Will allow both of you to put it in the past.0 -
I would just do my job if when she was making bad comments it was unintentionally annoying. If she was really trying to annoy me though I would ignore her and hope she dies on the boss. >=)0

I do stuff for people that aren't thankful ALL the time. It's my job to tank stuff so I do it. If it's some random DD that I don't like then I can let them die b:pleased
I say do your job: buff the squad, heal the tank, let the DD's handle themselves. b:victory0 -

I always just do my job and do it as well as possible. When you do things like lie about lagging, or heal them less and let them die it really only makes you look bad to the other people in your squad. I'd rather my squad as a whole think that I do my job well than get back at somebody else. It just isnt worth it.0

Well she probably would have said something if she died xD That's annoying too. And a ty from every person you heal isn't needed, but when you almost die and stay alive because you get heals.. then the least thing you can do is say ty.
I say ty too if someone rescues me. If i accidentely have heal aggro or something like that and someone grabs it from me so that i wont die i say thx too.
Anyway.. I would try to ignore that person. Do my job of course, but not listen to his/her comments.8x Cleric (Sanctuary)

Well if someone gets me pissed off, wich is usually pretty hard, I do tend to hold grudge since it does take a long way to make me upset. On those people I do not squad with nor will EVER help them achieve anything.
It might be my, but its also his. It would help you as much as it would help him.
It might sound selfish but those I do not squad with (wich are only 2 people), I have damn good reasons for it, (One scammed mats in TT, the other is a very very old and long story, older than this server) and as people say, "I wouldnt pee on their body if they were on fire".0 -

In a BH squad, I don't really care who is in squad, just as long as they're competent enough to get it done. In TT/Nirvana etc, I refuse to squad with people I hate (a very short list).0

90% of the time, I do TT, FB, quests, etc. with my faction, and... We're all really close friends now.
BH, however, we either do in faction, or at odd times with random squads.
There is one person on the server who I would refuse to squad with. Not gonna name names. This person is has apparently pissed off quite a few other people on Sanctuary, and after pissing me off by KSing my cleric for 10 minutes, got a multi-faction manhunt started for his head.
Started when he demanded buffs. I ignored him... Then he started spamming me with squad invites... I disabled them. Then he started KSing me. This twerp was in PK mode, so I asked my faction if anyone wanted to PK him... Someone came, and he kited. He showed up again, kited... Some officers from 2 other factions were in the area, and my factionmate talked to them... This idiot had done the same to several others.
I guess he got PKed a bunch more that night. Not smart going into PK mode at level 32, then pissing people off.
Anyhow, if I was in the same squad as him, I would simply say "I have a problem with a person in this squad" and leave. I would answer any other people from that squad PMing me with questions about it. But, that's just that one jerk.101 Sage Sin*/Archer

If the person I hated was the tank, I would leave. But, if the person I hated was a DD, well I'll buff the squad, but good luck without any heals buddy, because you're on your own. Sure, I'll even be as nice as to ress the guy if he dies, only to watch him die over, and over, and over again. b:mischievous0

when will people learn that? why is the pw community so dramatic? it's a ****ing game, play it and enjoy it. no reason to have a feud or hold grudges. the only time there should be a show of hatred is pk or tw.
..or when your "friend"(someone you don't even know, likely) is hanging around with someone you don't like(because they called you weak, aw), so you are entitled the right to whine, *****, and cause a lot of drama because that's just what this game is all about.
my suggestion? if you're honestly so immature that you cannot be around xxx because he's a cyber bully and 'he not nice', don't play it. do something else. this game is obviously too much for you.

It's never fun to hold grudges. There are a whole lot of people that are jerks inrl and even bigger jerks in game because they can pull it off with a lower chance of getting caught/punished. But if someone gives you bad comments, just like.. turn it back towards them. They just want to get you mad.

I really understand how you felt because I'd been through the same situation...
I was helping a friend in their BH with my Cleric. As we wanted the run to go fast (and we needed a tank as well) they went to Archosaur and ask around. One of the people who joined happened to be the alt of a person I hate. For the sake of the squad, however, I stayed there and did my job even when I died because of them. That person was a DD by the way.
It doesn't hurt that much as if you would really be healing them in the real life but you do feel a little something towards them. I made a Cleric because I love helping and saving people. I knew that I was going to walk on a hard part considering the attitude most people have towards Clerics but luckily I'm a very patient person and I manage to swallow pretty much anything no matter how much it hurts. Sometimes it frustrates me especially when I go over my limits and nobody says even a 'ty' but whenever I play with friends or random people who appreciate my efforts, it makes me really happy. I generally just suck it up and deal. If they play nice, I'm more than willing to return the favor. Most of the time, if I'm in a squad with someone I don't like, they won't do something stupid since I am the only cleric in the squad. b:laugh"I'm going to stand here and try to guess how much I'm gonna need to spend on bail by the time someone calls the cops."

If im in a BH or fb I would do my job as a cleric (if there was someone I hated in it) unless they started a fight when I join squad I'd ask the leader to kick them(if it's a faction member or friend), or I'd leave, unless I can manage to ignore them...
But one thing I hate out on the playing field is when I'm in the middle of killing mobs.. like the other day I had 3 or 4 mobs aggrod and I was doin all I could to keep myself alive and kill them and this sin drops down and spam's me asking for buffs while im in the middle of being ganged up on, doesn't bother helping me, just spam's my chat asking for buffs, no please or anything, so I took my sweet time killing those mobs.. ran around and killed a few extra before buffing him and didn't even get a thanks, he just flew off. It drives me nuts when people do that, they can see your in the middle of killing mobs(usually theres a few patient people) or being ganged up on they want you to stop what your doing and buff them. If I'm not in the mode of killing out in the field or just running around in a town, I'd be more than happy to buff, but if I'm getting ganged up on and looks like I'm struggleing and you need those buffs so bad and right then and there, be a nice person and help kill if you need them so quick and give a thanks for the buffs then all is good ;_;

Personally,I don't except any ty from others if im just doing my work.
If I join a BH squad because I need myself that BH everything I'll do will be not just for the sake of squad for the sake of my own BH.
Healing/Buffing in squad is something normal like a Barb stealing agro from a Wiz.
Even if don't like someone in squad,I'll act differently(Depends if I got the lead or not).
If HE's the squad leader I'd rather find another squad.
If Iam the squad leader,I'll try to get along,off course he may not be my top priority in healing if he's in danger,and if he annoys me but yet he doing is work I will not mind,if he annoys me AND puts squad in danger with reckless actions then he's out.
If none of us got lead then more or less like above.
When im outside a squad(i.e. just walking around aimlessy),off course I'd except a thanks if someone is asking for a buff.
To put it simple,if we're in squad I'll make sure you'll be fine&buffed,if you're not,you're on your own. b:bye unless im feeling nice or you just ask politely.
Oh and,if Im bored and join a random bh(e.g. a Bh39),I don't except anyone to be grateful to me,I was bored,so I decided on my own to help a random squad with their bh,you didn't ask me help,so in the end im doing it for myself. b:bye
