Question for our posters

Anyone else notice the lack of finesse used on Mono's thread? Have you guys begun to wonder if, maybe, we really DO need a mod from our own server? Someone that understands the circumstances behind the posts, the reasoning of personalized posts, and, in some unfortunate cases, can actually understand the post content when it isn't in the poster's native tongue or the poster has something inhibiting their linguistic abilities.

I know that SgtAwesomeMcBadass had been trying for a mod position. Is there anyone else willing to fill the void of HT mods? We truly need someone that understands and accepts us and all our shortcomings. Maybe someone can pressure someone who already wants to do it, eh? Will someone with linguistic prowess, intestinal fortitude, and the ability to look behind the post please step up?

    i honestly doubt that they would ever allow a mod for one specific section of the forums only, though it would be interesting to have a mod that actually knew what we were talking about before they go all lock happy on us. hmmm i know in the past we had a mod that was originally an HT player.... look how that ended up.

    lets just say, its not always the best idea to have someone as a mod who is personally investing in the goings on of the community of a specific server. its obvious you dont know this just by looking at your suggestions for mod. (much love to both sgt and aby, but....i lol'ed so hard at the thought)

    b:surrender I know trolls, but they're just two possible examples. If someone of renown and respect were on HT, and weren't totally opinionated, they probably don't post much. =\ Can you think of anyone that could fit these qualifications? Just the fact that posts are made AGAINST Enrage means that Enrage, Rad, TE, Drakon, and GoldDigrz members are excluded. Granted some of them may make truly magnificent mods, they all have too much invested in the occurrences of HT. Therefore, they all have biased views and may overlook some infractions while abusing their power against others.

    Well, I applied to be mod, but to be honest, I am not that keen on keeping up with all the other servers' little inside jokes so I guess I'd understand the mods "skimming" our topics.

    Granted, if I were mod, I would not be able to close any of Mono's threads without accusations of blatant power abuse on Enrage's behalf :P

    Maybe it's just pipe dreams and fantasies. I can pray, though. Time to go grind out a mil or two coins. =_= Getting tired of being 78, but it's the best level for me to grind out coins. Wish my luck.

    TBH I wouldn't mind being a mod for HT, I just don't want to go through the application process. I hate applying for things, and it's too much work.

    That, and I doubt I would have much support lol

    A forum section like HT should be run by the community itself, not by some random person/mod. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and what they type on this forum. If there is a flame going on, than what's wrong with letting it go on? If it stops, the thread would die anyway. If people say stupid stuff, it's logical that he or she gets stupid responses.
