Petition about 1k bug on GV

theres one annoying bug on GV (god valley also know as rebirth) than when u take 2x of ur hp equivalent of dmg u not only get ported to the entrance but u die again and get send back to 1 thousand streams.

is still possible to come back inside but requires whole squad to go outside (which is impossible unless they can reach boss lacking 1 or more DDers)

b:surrender a fix would be either instead of auto sending you back to entrance should give you the message of release , resurect or use rez scroll.
or get a timer like for example dont revive til 5 sec after you died.

that would fix the 1k bug and is not that hard.

(im not a gv noob o.o i did gv for 2nd map culti with a 5 man squad uncharmed with no bms which i can post pics if wanted)

    I think if you die in GV your character should be deleted

    and when barbs cant even sunder before reaching BB resulting on catastrophe or w.e. spelled , they should be castrated.

    It happens in warsong too. They would probably have to disable the no exp loss to fix it or something.

    However in Warsong you can re-enter as only a single individual. The party doesnt have to come out & get you. Unfortunately the developers didnt want swapping members mid rebirth to be an option, so they made it very difficult to get someone from outside once its going.

    I suggested both what the OP posted (about not auto-rezzing but instead getting the popup) as well as possible allowing ppl to enter into rebirth without the whole party coming out to get you as its implemented in Warsong.

    Well.. I see alot of people in this thread that has absolutely nothing good to contribute...

    Fact of the matter is: There is a bug in Valley of Reciprosity (Gamma/Delta (Ones I've seen the bug in and felt it)) that makes you port back to 1K if you have taken too much damage. I for one detest having spent 2+ hours in the instance and getting ported back when a BM's stun didnt proc or the barb didnt Provoke and/or Roar or a >insert class that has to do a certain thing here<.

    People make mistakes - for a 3-4 hour marathon of a certain dungeon I should think so. But, instead of calling >insert class< fail on the forums cause he/she didnt do >insert skill here<, rather look to the problem that this instance has. It is confirmed there is a bug.

    What the developers can do is make a alteration in the code that checks for if you have recieved insane amounts of damage that would kill you, kill you, make you immune to damage, port you to the spawning side, revive, immune stays on till you move or interact with a NPC and then wear off when you do these actions. Or entirely take the crappy coding out that lets you port to 1K in the first place.

    Nothing over dramatic with this solution so it should keep everyone happy.

    Even without a weapon equipped, there are BM's and Barbs that can't keep the monsters aggroed... So there would be a lot of good barbs and bm's missing o.o
    They know what they are doing, and play their class near to perfect... but in RB I always die... there is no way to prevent it, except to play without my weapon all time or be expeled all time o.o

    Hi,

    Yups, I totally agree, fixing this bug should be a priority. People need to complete rebirth for culti quests and to unlock new content and simply to do their BH. With the instance bugged like this it makes it very difficult to get thru this instance...even with vacuity and charms I was still kicked to 1k twice last time I tried rebirth.

    Also there are many other threads on this, I posted one myself about a month ago.

    GMs, please bribe the devs to fix this one :)

    Don't charge zen for 2 weeks (every single player) and watch how fast old well known bugs get fixed...

    There is a legit reason why the bug isn't fixed. Sources say it has nothing to do with the buffs itself and the new devs are unable to locate why it happens as the problem is elsewhere. Could be just laziness.

    Also, RB 1k 'glitch' should be easier to fix since it's just double death, I've heard someone already did it but... that's completely another thing.

    I was kicked out in Warsong once because of too much damage. It made me wonder at the time why they wouldn't allow you to re-enter rebirth as a single person; how hard could it be to change that? But then I remembered how it messed up the quests when we had to re-enter as a group. I guess it might be difficult with the aura quests and such with single people too? Although technically it is a glitch, it should just keep them working, and not make us trash the quests to get back in. But even in warsong, when you get kicked out the quests fail. So I think if they did change it, it would have to prevent it from kicking you somehow, otherwise if the blademaster was kicked you would still face the problem of being unable to activate further auras (although I would still take that option as it is far more often the poor wiz).

    It seems to me that the "bug" in rebirth is a result of server-client lag, the same lag that will kill you running through the hands in TT when you are clearly out of them on your client, will allow you to use some chi skills without using chi, and wear weapons you shouldnt be able to wear. (im not explaining any further, dont ask).

    RB should be hard to complete, it should take a well balanced team, not a +8 wiz with a +1 bm, not a 9k hp fist barb. It should be more than macroing and button mashing. if you get 1ked learn from your mistake, yes its frustrating, but someone did something wrong, or the team was poorly assembled, learn from the mistake and try again.

    Ditto... I'm annoyed by people that call out HH instead of TT and GV instead of Rebirth... get with the times; you're on a different server so use the lingo specified in-game. b:surrender

    Actually, I was being serious. After all, PW-MY has no relation with PWI, so expecting that the PWE people know PW-MY terminology makes no sense.
