PW Rumors: Fact Or Fiction Megathread

In light of the recent blight of threads about rumors of dubious origin, I decided it would be a good idea to make a thread detailing these rumors and either disproving or clarifying them.

I will update this as needed.

1.1 ~ What is a "rumor"?

According to Dictionary.com, a rumor is:
1. a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts

2. gossip; hearsay

So basically, a rumor may or may not be true. However, most of the time, they are not true at all.

2.1 ~ Rumors About Potential Changes To CN Version

R1. Fists/claws will be made to be a BM weapon only.

A1. As of this point in time, there seem to be no plans to restrict fists/claws to BMs.

R2. Interval will be reduced/altered.

A2. As of this point in time, there seem to be no plans to alter how interval works.

R3. TW changes have been rolled back.

R3. To put it simply: no. TW remains unchanged.

2.2 ~ Rumors About Potential Changes To PWI Version

R1. New server.

A1. No. For more info, click here.

R2. Server merges.

A2. As far as we know, there are no plans for any server merges.

2.3 ~ Rumors About PW Genesis

R1. So I heard the new classes are...so-and-so.

A1. The new classes are named Seeker and Mystic and are a part of the Earthguard race. As for what they are like, the general consensus so far is that the Seeker is tank-like with a claymore and the Mystic is like a mix between cleric and veno and uses some kind of staff-like weapon.

R2. Black Sand Palace.

A2. The map for it is in-game, yes. However, there is no mini-map and no physical dungeon for it. Thus, we may or may not see it revived into a full-blown dungeon for this expansion.

R3. New classes are P2P.

A3. No. PW will remain a F2P game. How "free" it is though, depends on you.

    If you have 5 pick axes in your inventory when you pick a mat or herb you'll get 5x as much.

    My favorite written thing I ever saw on these forums for last two years+.

    Having full chi before crafting gear will increase the odds of it being 3-4 socket.

    I heard they're gonna make it 6.66 max aps for halloween.

    That's pretty good but on my server we already had "axe throwing archers" cause of "hax" in TW.
