Ive been playing PW CN since it started (yep, long long time ago).. and i have a few friends on staff team.. they said to me that they planning on release a G13 -0.05 aps gem in a compensation for the already existent -3% chan gem... its suppose to come on a patch after the next big expansion, aka Genesis.

    -0.5 is much more significant than -3% chan. I don't think I believe this.

    hmm loking at it logically it might actually be true well assuming PWI is always out for more sources of income (which I have found is usually true), considering -3% channel is purely for weapons (outside of weapons its just a vit stone), this would only increase PWI's potential income from players as it would allow certain weapons that cant normally atain 5aps or ones that are more difficult to obtain 5aps on (R8 daggers, R8 fist, double recast weapons etc). It might even be required to attain 5aps on the new Earthguard Seeker (creating another insane DD class). The cap of only providing APS on weapons would limit it to a max of 2 (meaning more CSing to socket lunar claws/TT99 fist or even buying TT100 fist for guaranteed 2 socket)

    Which would encourage more CSing from the higher DD's to recast their weapons (or purchase the rank8 daggers etc), equally it could just be like all the other speculation regarding changes to APS and simply be rubbish. Equally it could be the OP trying to make a suggestion in a subtle fashion or simply flamebait regardless the thread should probably have been locked long ago (sadly our mods arent as fast as one would expect on locking threads like this)

    But yea, if it's in compensation for having shards with -3%, then that would mean they plan on releasing rings with -0.10 interval to compensate for magic rings have -6% channel. As well as necklaces and belts with -interval to compensate for ornaments being able to have up to -6%.



    So... cant wait to go back to pure vit and get 5.0 with axes.

    It would work the same as the crit and channel gems.......
    only apply to weapons ( so two max )

    Whether the OP is a troll or not, I wish this were true.
    The current limited interval options are too restrictive in terms of gear choice.

    So you can make sure you can hit 5.0 APS in full Nirvana Gear maybe ? With a +45 Att Lvl and +40 Def Lvl ?
    Even as a 5.0APS BM, I can see it is way over powered as it is now, why on earth should they make it easier to obtain

    Interval is not the same as channeling. There is no need to "compensate" channeling things with interval things. You realize -6% channel means you only need to spend 94% of the normal channeling time channeling some skill. By contrast -0.1 interval reduces the time between hits. The first is a percent of a total, the second is not. You need -50% channeling to cut your channeling down to half. And yet getting 2.5 aps to 5.0 aps takes how many total interval gears?

    i'm an ABC and i think it says something like Phoenix Soul(?) Stone and it gives -0.01 interval for weapon and +10 vit (or +10 str, i'm not really fluent b:shutup)

    Im not sure how -.01 would work considering the game only really supports multiples of .05

    Maybe it would round down... I dont think you would ever want more than 1 in that case.

    Hmm... I wonder if two of them in conjunction with hell spark on a G15 with only one -0.05 on a 2.86 unsparked BM hit 5.0?

    (.35-.02) - ((.35-.02) x.25)) = .2475 rounds up to .25

    1/.25 = 4 aps sry but no

    Interval users have nothing to be compesated about vs decreased channeling users. Interval users already do way more damage than magic classes because they don't have any cast animation. Even if a magic user had all the posible decreased channeling, it wouldn't compare againts the maximum interval because magic users have to wait for an animation to finish before doing an attack, and there is no way to reduce the time of that animation.

    Items such as the Tome Up Love and Down have -1% channel and -0.05 interval. They should have in my opinion at least -3% channel because -1 channel is nothing compared to -0.05 interval.

    Yes, Love Up & Down should have at least -6% channeling. There should be a -9% chan lvl 7 tome, for as rare and expensive as they are.

    Watch, next people are going to complain that magic users dont have -cooldown/casting stones (although that does sound cool). But if there were -int stones, i would think they would be .05 instead of .5

    yeah i don't understand why such an epic tome has only 1% even 3% would've sufficed.
