new barb weapon claymores

Here is a suggestion that needs attention claymores a new barb weapon to use a big sword to swing at your foes and in pvp axes are pole exes are fine but some ppl like to swing
a big blade around.

    We already have a weapon that's wielded by two hands. It's called a blade. It's not popular but it's a giant sword.

    And as far as I'm concerned, I love claymores. Call of duty Ftw. Mw2 sucked. Can't wait for BO though.

    Wait what? o_O There's no two-handed sword in this game.

    Unless you're refering to the "pole blade" which is a stick with a sword on the end of it.

    And it's classified as a pole weapon.

    What about the new class seeker from Genesis expansion ? (coming soon)
    Well from the preview seem they use big swords but dunno 2 handed or not . . b:chuckle
    And seem genesis expansion going to revamp every class model so maybe . . changes ?

    No, I was referring to the Blade, and after looking at some pictures, you are correct. It's not two-handed. It is, however, still one big sword that the OP is looking for.

    I think the Barbs should stick with axe / hammer. These are good bashing weapons. A claymore, basterd sword, or any 2 handed sword has a completely different form and style. I just wish the polehammers and poleaxes had a faster attack rate.
    I just hope the Seekers in the upcoming Genesis expansion have a better attack rate with their 2-handed sword. Around 1.0 sounds right. The single handed swords are faster of course and the claymore blade should slice through the air faster than a hammer or axe since it's center of balance is closer to the handle.
    I hope they use more than just the blade. I saw on TV that people who used claymores (or the Medieval basterd sword) would use the whole weapon. A bashing move with the pommel at close range, for example. The basterd sword was actually consider 1 and 1/2 hands instead of 2. It would often be wielded by having one hand on the handle and one hand above the hilt guard- on the blade itself. This helped balance it and opened up some stab and fling moves.
    Not a big deal. This is a fantasy game and historical accuracy isn't really important. I just hope the attack speed is better than polehammers.
    It would be nice if they had two different kinds of claymores to choose from, a lighter one with stats more like polearms and a heavier one with stats more like poleaxes.

    [I guess I don't look hard enough. Everytime I google Claymore, it brings up the M18 Anti-personnel Explosive. Didn't realize there was a blade as well lol. Then again, that's what I am usually looking for so I ignore the others lol]
