Demonic jester- pet

I just caught a demonic jester, was the first time i saw it. Does any1 know anything bout this pet? Cuz it looks like its 1 of a kind aka rare pet. After i lvl it up 2my lvl (=70) i'll keep u guys posted.

    I caught and leveled one into its 50s. It was a nice novelity, but not practical in use - I found it died to quick and required lots of healing in comparison to other pets. IMO, I'd rather have one of the apes for range attacks.

    i think it is a holdover from a quest that is not in the f2p version of pwi as it seems to be an elite mob with no purpose. I caught it long ago on my veno, levelled it a bit but as sonne above me said - it is pretty rubbish as a pet. keep it for fun factor if you have room in your pet bag.

    found this thread from back early in the game Diabolic Jester not much info but a location so you can go find the guy for yourself ;)

    You might prefer a Carapest Terror. They're about as useful as a frogling as pets (not worth pet bag space imho)..

    This is basically a type of Carapest if i'm not mistaken. There was a time when mobs with elite status became popular pets, although they really aren't any different to others once tamed. The wolves in the untamed fb are good examples, and the Darkbreed Wolfkin continues to make a good choice given the good stats of it's type. I believe the lowest level Carapest actually offers the advantage of having the highest mag defense out of all pets, a characteristic which sould be shared by the Jester that probably comes in second. However, time would eventually prove the need for a pet to fill solely the role of mag tanker was greatly exaggerated.

    If you want a pet with similar stats i would recommend the Antelope Pup which adds a very decent dps to the mix, although their constant screeching is little better than a Foxwing's and some players dislike it. It is a much better looking model however.
