Is here anyone who is from London? I need some help. Playing PWI anyway so i might as well post it here lol.
Thing is i need to get from Stansted airport to Heathrow between 11.45 and 17.30 local time. I don't know anything about buses or trains going there so all info is welcome.

    Have you tried looking online for the bus schedules? That might help you out. Well, once you interpret them anyway. That's about all I can do for you, since I'm not from London. But, good luck anyway.

    Trains run frequently, every 15 minutes or so, I believe, between Stanstead and London Liverpool Street station.

    From there, your best bet is to use the underground. The route to Heathrow isn't direct, you will need to change at least once.

    Underground

    Liverpool Street Station is served by several lines, depending upon what you are after doing, you have options.

    You could take the Circle (yellow), Metropoliton (purple) or Hammersmith and City (pink) to Kings Cross and change for the Piccadilly line (dark blue).

    Alternatively, you could take the Central line (red) to Holborn and change there for the Piccadilly line.

    From central London (Leicester Square) you will have an hours journey to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line.

    Another alternative, is to use the Heathrow Express train service from Paddington Station (fantastic looking building next door to Kings Cross). This service runs approximately every 15 minutes. I have a feeling that this costs a bit though.

    This may be useful

    If you wish to check anything out in the city while there, send me a message or check out the map linked to plan your route. I'm thinking because of luggage, that may not be the case.

    A taxi will cost a lot for the journey and, even though the underground gets busy, busses will be torture!

    hey hey. im pretty sure theres actually a shuttle bus from stanstead directly to london also

    theres not much i can say that hay hasnt already apart from always check for closures and delays on the tube lines usualy the part close some of the lines on a sunday especialy. buy an all day travel card for tube instead of single journeys, if you go wrong and get off at the wrong stop you dont wanna have to buy ANOTHER ticket to get back on the tube.

    dont get a taxi...will cost you an arm and a leg and dont get busses unless you are EXTREMLY brave xd

    dw though you have plenty of time to get from stanstead to heathrow.

    I couldn't agree more... these are all things that I should have already included! (TY Dorset for mentioning all this).
