the problem i have is that my skill bars are extended everytime i log in, so i asked for support to see if there is any solution and i got this answer

Try moving the bars up away from the edge of the game screen.

Change the game to run in windowed mode. Play for a little bit.

Log out and shut the game down.

Restart your PC.
Run Verify and let it complete.

Try again and see if it works.

    You said that you verified and it did not work. It usually works.

    You said that you reinstalled and that it did not work. That should have worked.

    They asked you to resize the game windows and try re-positioning it, you said you did that.

    You said it only happens on one character.

    We haven't been able to reproduce it on our end.


    Try redownloading the latest game client and installing it. When you uninstall the game, make sure that you delete ALL remaining leftover files when you reinstall the newer game client.

    Somehow that character got messed up with your resolution or full screen/windowed mode setups, and it wants to stay open.

    While it is mildly aggravating, it is not game breaking, and takes minimal effort to click a few times to put it back the way you want.

    Please note it is against the Terms of Service to publicly share private communications between GMs, PWE staff, Customer Support, etc; and you, the player.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    I stopped sending tickets a long time ago. I am used to get replies that either totally miss the subject of my request or basically tell me they don't know what it is and I have to deal with it lol.

    and it does not matter where i try it every single pc i do is the same so its not a resolution problem

    got new laptop and the installer i used is the latest one from the page

    just one of my characters in my account got messed since long ago after an update which i dont remember what update was

    no, its not a problem, just have to click on the expand buttons to solve it, even that the game gives you the ability to personalize the UI and save it that way... and well i thought there could be some solution, and what i didnt like what the "give up" answer

    i know but was not thinking about that
    anyway i still play the game so dont worry even that im not at impusive cash shopper :P

    the only time I personally have any issues where the skill bars etc do not save the way I had them set up before I left the game is if I get disconnected. Afaik those settings arent saved if you don't specifically log out of the game via the in game menu.. are you doing this?

    when you dont log off (got disconnected or game crashed) normaly got your skill buttons just scrambled as in they change position but after i sort them they are where i left them after reloging but this is just the bar expanded just that and just in my main char no others
